【TSUMUGI】: Um, thank you very much. ... Somehow, I'm a bit concerned about how you ended that sentence...
【NAGI】: I wonder, have I conveyed my sincerity? Lol
【TSUMUGI】: Nagi-san, good work on today's lesson!
【NAGI】: Thank you, manager.
Thanks to your smile, I was able to spend a very fulfilling day today as well.
【TSUMUGI】: Thank you very much!
【NAGI】: The one who wants to convey words of thanks is I.
【NAGI】: Simply by being watched over by your lovely eyes, I can become as strong as a brave hero.
【NAGI】: I will certainly lead you and our companions down the path of glory.
【TSUMUGI】: Er, to whom might I be speaking?
【NAGI】: Nagi Rokuya.
【TSUMUGI】: Somehow, the atmosphere feels different from usual...
【TSUMUGI】: Oh! I understand!
Since it's a text message, you aren't mixing in words like "OH" and "HEY"! That must be why!
【NAGI】: Oh :-)
【TSUMUGI】: You're very skilled at Japanese!
【NAGI】: I had heard that Japan was very strict about manners.
【NAGI】: In order to communicate with my online friends, I studied Japanese.
【NAGI】: I can also use a small bit of net slang.
【TSUMUGI】: That's incredible, Nagi-san!
【NAGI】: It's not nearly as incredible as your beauty lol
【TSUMUGI】: Um, thank you very much. ... Somehow, I'm a bit concerned about how you ended that sentence...
【NAGI】: I wonder, have I conveyed my sincerity? Lol

t/n:
1. despite the title being "good at japanese" and the contents being about how nagi is actually pretty good at japanese, I... translated nagi's sentences very literally.... to try and convey a slight stiltedness? sorry nagi I meant no harm
2. I put nagi's english words into italicized times new roman to differentiate them from the words I'd translated from japanese, because otherwise I could never use the word "Oh" normally again
3. the word nagi uses when he talks about his internet friends is "交流" -- it's a word that means basically talking with other people, but it carries the connotation of being a cultural exchange. english doesn't have a word like that so I just went with "communicating"....
4. the "lol" and "Lol" were "www" and "Www" in japanese; it's basically net slang for laughter (w = warau, warau (笑う) = "laughter") so it's a rough equivalent to lol! I think it's really cute that the second Www capitalized itself because it came after punctuation in nagi's line like it's an autocorrect on a smartphone....... I can't believe all these idols type with such nice english grammar on their phones. my bad
