【RIKU】: I know that it's something incredibly important, but saying it in one phrase is hard.

【TSUMUGI】: In order to spread excitement about the performance at SummerFes, I'd like to post comments from all of the members on the website.
【TSUMUGI】: On that note, would it be alright if I had you answer a simple survey?

【RIKU】: Gotcha!

【TSUMUGI】: Thank you very much!
【TSUMUGI】: What does singing mean to you, Riku-san?

【RIKU】: Singing....... I wonder what it is.......
【RIKU】: I know that it's something incredibly important, but saying it in one phrase is hard.
There's how I've admired it, and how it's the meaning for why I'm alive, and I think it's something I absolutely can't lose, but in the past that's not how I thought of it.......
【RIKU】: Maybe it's my connection to Nii-san.
【RIKU】: Ah, you can't post something like this, huh.

Iori'll get angry at me again. He'll tell me to come up with a usable comment, instead.

【TSUMUGI】: Iori-san would probably.......
I think, even if the comment weren't usable, he wouldn't be angry.
【TSUMUGI】: I think that the way your brother's presence is deeply engrained into the way you live, and your posture as an idol, is only natural, Riku-san.
He's simply that incredible of an older brother, after all.
【TSUMUGI】: However, for Iori-san, it may be that he's frustrated that rather than himself or IDOLiSH7, the person most pivotal to you, Riku-san, is your older brother?

【RIKU】: I wonder about that.......

[1]: I understand how you feel, as well, though, Riku-san.
[2]: Please forget about your brother already!
[3]: Because Iori-san likes you, Riku-san.

【TSUMUGI】: I understand how you feel, as well, though, Riku-san.
【TSUMUGI】: Since you were unfathomably close with your older brother.

【RIKU】: Right....... The reason for why I thought I'd start singing was that, after all.......
【RIKU】: I get it. I'll try to think of a comment again, properly.

【TSUMUGI】: I can't post the parts about your older brother, but it was a wonderfully honest comment.
【TSUMUGI】: It's not that I want you to push yourself to do fanservice...... no, memberservice, at all.
【TSUMUGI】: It's that I can understand how Iori-san feels, so I.
【TSUMUGI】: I'm very sorry for my interjection.

【RIKU】: You understand how Iori feels, then.
Manager, you and Iori sure do get along well, after all.......

【TSUMUGI】: You and Iori-san are much closer, Riku-san?

【RIKU】: Um, manager.
I'm gonna ask something strange but could it be, you and Iori are g

【TSUMUGI】: Excuse me! It seems that you've sent it partway through!
【TSUMUGI】: What comes after the g?

【RIKU】: Going to eat Chinese noodles, if that's the case could I tag along?

【TSUMUGI】: Please forget about your brother already!
【TSUMUGI】: I believe it's best if you follow your own path, Riku-san.

【RIKU】: That's true....... Normally, that's my intention, but.......
【RIKU】: I get it. I'll try to think of a comment again, properly.

【TSUMUGI】: Because Iori-san likes you, Riku-san.
【TSUMUGI】: I believe that he's frustrated as a producer.

【RIKU】: Why would Iori be a producer?
【RIKU】: I get it. I'll try to think of a comment again, properly.

t/n:

1. ok I struggled long and hard over riku's "nii-san" and ultimately I have decided to leave it as nii-san (the original line was "兄さんとの繋がりかなあ.") because I Think, and this is mostly me freewheeling here, that usually family members don't use the nominative case to refer to each other in the third person, which is a very fancy and probably inaccurate way of saying, I think that if riku were saying "it's my connection to my brother", he would have said 兄. there are in fact a lot of cases where in early rabbit chats riku will refer to ten as his 兄 and in those cases I think I translated them all as 'my brother', but since in this case he's using the nominative(?) 兄さん, I've left it as "nii-san" in the text

it might have still been appropriate to just make it "my brother" because ten's not actually in this conversation so the nominative form distinction is probably kinda silly but heck if I'll pass up an opportunity to make a questionable translation decision so I can blabber about it in my translation notes!

also tbh I prefer the way "Maybe it's my connection to Nii-san" looks over "Maybe it's my connection to my brother", the formal makes it look a lot more personal imo

2. wow these dialogue paths are really frickin' loaded

3. tsumugi's musings about iori's gut anti-ten reflex is kinda interesting but also she uses the word 悔しい and I'm just like

all of these loaded phrases being used here

4. WOW RIKU YOU DROPPED THAT TOPIC REAL QUICK

5. I can't believe this is real and this has really existed in a real chat on this real game ever since its very real launch and it is only on this day the twenty-somethingth of april that I am discovERING THIS

JESUS CHRIST

6. THYIS JOKE GETS USED IN THE HALLOWEEN CHATS TOO AND I'M SOOOOO TIRED OF THESE TWO

riku's cut-off word is "つ-" so I'm guessing it's 付き合ってる, like, what else could it be, so I changed it to "g" in my translation

I guess I could have made it a d too but that was setting myself up for too many jokes and keeping it as a 'g' made riku's tsukemen pun easier to deal with but I kind of cheated either way because I Hate Plays On Words

7. ok so tsumugi refers to riku as an お兄ちゃん子 which I am pretty sure is the older brother equivalent of a momma's boy or some similarly somewhat derogatory term for when someone is spoiled by another family member and I'm

Whoa there Tsumugi but mostly I'm

how do I translate this, older brother's little brother, that doesn't work, none of these things work, so I wound up kind of softening and rephrasing it a bit
