It was very fun to be able to go to a cafe with you today, Tamaki-san!

Since you ate with such deep passion, it was worth treating you!

【TAMAKI】： If we go as a pair it's good since we can split things in half

1. tamaki says "ありがとう", followed by a "ごちそうさま", which is basically "thanks" "thanks for the food" and there is no way I'm making it out of these two lines without a horrible amount of repetition
2. fyi, the cafe that tamaki is at in his ordinary days card (and for the most part, every character is situated in their ordinary days chat location for their card's SSR) is fonte chocolat (aka the izumi family cake shop)
so it's actually kinda weird that tamaki would imply he doesn't like the fonte chocolat atmosphere when in his day off card he literally is like I Wanna Live Here Iorin
imo there are three main possibilities:
①: the writers threw in this inconsistency just to make my life difficult and/or before they'd come up with the idea of sending iori and tamaki to fonte chocolat together. ②: tamaki Character Develop'd and came to like fonte chocolat after finding out it was mitsuki & iori's family restaurant because Group Loyalty. ③: tamaki Character Develop'd and at first he didn't care for fonte chocolat bc Happy Family Atmosphere (gazes meaningfully @ tamaki's family atmosphere) and so there may have been some jealousy involved, but then Thru Aforementioned Character Development
wow I forgot how to be eloquent whilst being emotional about my son tamaki yotsuba but in my heart I want 2 believe that he was bitter and/or just plain indifferent to the Warm Loving Family that fonte chocolat represented and then (probably bc he got to know the izumi brothers better) eventually he became more fond of it
or he doesn't like the atmosphere still in the day off chats but he's putting up with it because of all of the cake he's gonna eat
