2. once again, the title for this chat (正攻法はいらないから) is tamaki's line from the second verse of memories melodies!
3. tamaki: *uses punctuation*
me: *collapses, falling over, overcome with emotion for my son*
4. tamaki calls it びりびり at first, and then switches to ぴりぴり -- obvs these are Very Similar Sounding in japanese, but I couldn't think of any similarly similar sounding words in english that'd come with similar meanings (which is already a shot in the dark bc japanese onomatopoeia is not japanese onomatopoeia without at least three different meanings for one sfx), so.... the nuance of switching from tentens to dakutens got kinda lost!
anyways I picked the (rly weird) words that I did because (see t/l note 5)
5. TAMAKI'S EQ IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME AND MY LAGGING COMPUter!!!!!! ok so basically the reason I picked the words that I did is because I wanted to imply that it was less that tamaki was Feeling Nervous, and more that he was picking up on everyone else's nervousness, and I love him,
6. *thinks about tamaki mentioning mufest for iori* *presses a hand to my face, starts sobbing*
IT'S JSUT THAT, this is the boy, who can't remember to do his homework, forgets things relating to his job, forgets some of the things he himself says, and has this lazy/slobbish seeming exterior, but he has!!!!! such a good memory for the things that happen to the people around him!!!!!! remembering that iori was the most affected by mufest and then applying it to borw shows a Heck Of A Lot of attention to the situation, and it's just, GOD,
*stands up* *paces around my kitchen several times*

7. idk if this is worth commenting on or not but usually tamaki will write mezzo in flat katakana (メッゾ) instead of stylising it (MEZZO”), but in this case he did stylise it and so I did so accordingly in my t/l!
8. every time tamaki uses the pudding thumbs up sticker I weep
