1. on the first day of yamato, my rabbit chat gave to me A Really Difficult Title To Translate

I'M REALLY TIRED (when am I not), but anyways as per eoy live standard, this first chapter is quoting one of yamato's lines from memories melodies! in this case it's "想像以上になれるさ" (one day), which is one of the five (5) lines I left untranslated in my rough draft for memomelo. thanks, past self! the line itself is Very Good (and very yamato) because it's basically talking about the idea of being able to surpass your limitations? in this case the limitations are your imagination, but the way I interpret the line is that it's saying there Is No Place To Stop — so for yamato nikaidou, the chronic Will Settle For Whatever Works man, it's a very fitting line!
it's also very difficult line to translate since it is! a song lyric! I tried my best, but my best is.... not very good....... part of that is space constraints because I don't like writing long titles, part of it is that I am.... not that creative! so in lieu of that, instead I will offer my tl;dr analysis of this ten syllable line that nobody asked for! the literal translation would be something along the lines of "we'll be able to become more than we imagined", with (imo) the highlight being on 'able to become' (a meaning that got kinda lost in my translation......) and 'more than imagined': like I said, yamato is the kind of character who's... almost kinda depressive? he's very de-motivated (and jaded, etc.), and part of his unwillingness to exert himself is probably Genuine Laziness, but another part of it is something I've always read as deep-seated pessimism? he's not a very optimistic guy and so in this case, the idea of being able to become something more than what you've envisioned is kind of a big deal for a 22 y/o guy where you look at him and think wow this guy has no aspirations, his life goal is probably something weird like beating the guinness world record for # of hot dogs eaten in one sitting and he probably said it as a joke

I guess it depends on how you interpret yamato's character when it comes to deciding which interpretation you prefer!
