While this high school is tolerant of absences and early departures, because of that, it becomes necessary to maintain constant grades on the periodic tests.
【IORI】： Yotsuba-san had a failing mark on his periodic test, had a failing mark on his makeup test, and with his failing mark on his makeup-makeup test he's in a condition I can hardly bear to look at, and so if things continue at this rate, then next year, he will be my underclassman.

【IORI】： As such, I've appealed to our homeroom teacher, and we've settled it so that supplementary lessons and a report will be enough to pass.

1. justice came for puddings in this the year of our lord 2016 and I didn't even have to feed iori an SR of himself to get here
2. iori says that tamaki failed his 追試, and then he failed his 追々試, the former of which is a 'makeup test' and the latter of which is a 'makeup (x2) test'? I don't think the second one is Actually A Word but either way I am Afraid for Tamaki yotsuba
3. the word for "appeal" that iori uses is 訴えかけて, which can mean something as innocent as "appeal" buT CAN ALSO MEAN something so extreme as "to sue and/or take someone to court", so I'm like, oh my god, how many people does iori izumi threaten to take to court all in a days work (remember in the side story when he was thinking about how he'd sue takanashi pro if they didn't pass mitsuki at the audition)
was iori the teenager who went through a phase of ironically suing people or was that a thing that only happened at my middle school
4. in all seriousness though it is actually very kind of iori to go the extra mile for tamaki like that.............. exceedingly kind....... so kind that you could say, it brings a tear, to my eye,
it also brings a tear to my eye because while yes iori is characterised as the *COUGHS* type of character who really just wants to support the people around him, I believe within my heart that there's probably also a part of him that is capital L Lonely at the prospect of losing tamaki as a classmate
5. I still wonder if I shouldn't be translating (怒) as (GUH)
6. iori getting flushed is as nightmarish for me as it is endearing because first I have to translate what he's saying out of japanese, and then I have to translate it out of his tsundere accent to figure out What The Heck it is he's trying to say, and then I have to translate his tsundere accent back into english so that I can properly(?) convey what exactly it is that iori izumi is trying to say
anyways what I'm trying to say is that his "だから、何だと言うわけではありませんが……。" in the third dialogue path gave me a headache

I can't tell if iori is saying at the end of this chat that he'll take a video of the completed manga that tamaki is drawing to send it to tsumugi, or if he's saying that once tamaki finishes drawing all of these friends of the forest he'll Have It Officially Animated And Made Into A Video because the latter is definitely what his tone implies to me but it's also, like, nine times more ridiculous, so
