1. I feel like an old grandpa whenever I try to make the dialogue sound more natural in these rabbit chats, cracks my hip replacement on my way to google how to make a seventeen year old sound like a seventeen year old
2. anyways I translated the first part of this w/o 90% of my usual references (leopardeyes @ dw going unplugged), so some parts of it might read a bit weirdly because of that! m(_ _m
3. the word 最高 ("ultimate", "the best") gets used way too often in this chat
4. I couldn't look words up while I was translating on paper but I could, count —s and !s, mitsuki izumi puts fifteen —s after "we won"
5. I realised this only recently but riku has a Distinct Preference for kinako stamps > ousama pudding stamps....... of the other characters who use a lot of stamps, tsumugi has a pretty even balance (altho it feels like she tends to prefer kinako), tamaki prefers pudding (*clutches my chest* whenever he uses a smiling kinako), and mitsuki's fairly even?
the other characters don't use stamps as often so it's harder to pick up on patterns, but, anyways, riku preferring kinako stamps makes me kind of sad when you think about how the other members keep trying to quarantine riku away from kinako because she sheds(?) and so it's not good for his illness LOL
I can't believe this fricking one head tall rabbit is causing angst
6. the spinning pudding stamp makes me think about the beat (I think it was the beat??? GOD I don't remember) pudding chat where tsumugi was like "your dance was so wild and energetic.... 24. "azabu's traditional multi-course soba dining" was the best I could do with 麻布の蕎麦懐石の料亭. Basically the implication is that it's rly frickin' luxurious dining that sougo's referencing!
*sheds another tear* the little kaiseki bentous have come so far..... (pre-debut, oogami and the president were calling idolish7 "kaiseki bentou (temporary)" (and it was only thanks to tsumugi's grace that we were blessed with the name IDOLiSH7), and in this case sougo is referencing that same kaiseki as a Sophisticated Form Of Fine Dining)
25. ok the 10% that sougo references is something I am absolutely not at all certain I'm interpreting correctly, but apparently 十割蕎麦 is soba that's made with only soba (buckwheat) flour, but it contrasts to 二八蕎麦, which is soba that's made with 2 parts udon and 8 parts soba flour? so my guess (it's a guess, I'm.... not that good with japanese cuisine LOL) is that sougo's saying that even tho it looks like udon (which would imply 二八蕎麦), they're claiming it's 十割蕎麦? Idk
26. my favorite thing about nagi's kaomoji is that 90% of the time if he uses a new one I can go into my phone's built-in jpn keyboard and find the kaomoji there

1. I feel like an old grandpa whenever I try to make the dialogue sound more natural in these rabbit chats, cracks my hip replacement on my way to google how to make a seventeen year old sound like a seventeen year old
2. anyways I translated the first part of this w/o 90% of my usual references (leopardeyes @ dw going unplugged), so some parts of it might read a bit weirdly because of that! m(_ _m
3. the word 最高 ("ultimate", "the best") gets used way too often in this chat
4. I couldn't look words up while I was translating on paper but I could, count —s and !s, mitsuki izumi puts fifteen —s after "we won"
5. I realised this only recently but riku has a Distinct Preference for kinako stamps > ousama pudding stamps....... of the other characters who use a lot of stamps, tsumugi has a pretty even balance (altho it feels like she tends to prefer kinako), tamaki prefers pudding (*clutches my chest* whenever he uses a smiling kinako), and mitsuki's fairly even?
the other characters don't use stamps as often so it's harder to pick up on patterns, but, anyways, riku preferring kinako stamps makes me kind of sad when you think about how the other members keep trying to quarantine riku away from kinako because she sheds(?) and so it's not good for his illness LOL
I can't believe this fricking one head tall rabbit is causing angst
6. the spinning pudding stamp makes me think about the beat (I think it was the beat??? GOD I don't remember) pudding chat where tsumugi was like "your dance was so wild and energetic.... 24. "azabu's traditional multi-course soba dining" was the best I could do with 麻布の蕎麦懐石の料亭. Basically the implication is that it's rly frickin' luxurious dining that sougo's referencing!
*sheds another tear* the little kaiseki bentous have come so far..... (pre-debut, oogami and the president were calling idolish7 "kaiseki bentou (temporary)" (and it was only thanks to tsumugi's grace that we were blessed with the name IDOLiSH7), and in this case sougo is referencing that same kaiseki as a Sophisticated Form Of Fine Dining)
25. ok the 10% that sougo references is something I am absolutely not at all certain I'm interpreting correctly, but apparently 十割蕎麦 is soba that's made with only soba (buckwheat) flour, but it contrasts to 二八蕎麦, which is soba that's made with 2 parts udon and 8 parts soba flour? so my guess (it's a guess, I'm.... not that good with japanese cuisine LOL) is that sougo's saying that even tho it looks like udon (which would imply 二八蕎麦), they're claiming it's 十割蕎麦? Idk
26. my favorite thing about nagi's kaomoji is that 90% of the time if he uses a new one I can go into my phone's built-in jpn keyboard and find the kaomoji there
my least favorite thing is that I then have to somehow copy that kaomoji off of my phone and get it onto my computer
anyways, nagi's "ｷﾀ───（°∀°）────!!" is basically "here it comes───（°∀°）────!!", (ktkr) — which then raises the question of, why is nagi so excited, he can't drink
