6. in other news I am Huge Sigh Of Relief that apparently it's ok to drop the ten-nii bomb in rabbit chats now
7. the incident where they stole trigger fans happens fairly early on in the main story when idolish7 goes to watch trigger's live for the first time! it's after iori suggests that tsumugi place a moratorium on singing and dancing to try and train Professional Mindsets into the group, and so they aren't allowed to sing or dance for a month(? iirc) leading up to trigger's performance! after the show everyone is Pumped And Motivated and so they start singing and dancing on their way home, but because they're mixed in with all of the trigger fans who are also heading home, a bunch of fans started stopping to watch and listen to them!
later on it became a huge deal because from an outsider's pov, it looked like idolish7 was trying to benefit from trigger's ticket sales, or else trying to steal their customers; in other words, they were trying to get free advertisement! ofc that wasn't their intention at all but iirc this incident is what puts i7 on yaotome papa's radar and starts making him like Super Gung Ho About Crushing IDOLiSH7 Like A Grape
8. idolish7 more like The Story Of Bad Disguises
first we have tsumugi's intellectual sportsman disguise, and then we have kujou ten stopping in at the operating room on his way to see riku's performance, and then we have ten saying that gaku is Incapable Of Disguising Himself, and now there's nagi and riku's disastrous disguises,
I feel like I'm missing a few, but when will it end,
9. I'm not sure if nagi means that they are having candid shots taken of them up the wazoo (in which case I am P Sure That Means You're バレた), or if he's saying that the people behind them are taking pictures of TRIGGER up the wazoo and he and riku just happen to be in the foreground

10. my favorite thing about the second half of this chat is that riku completely drops out as soon as they get to trigger's live recording (meanwhile nagi is livetweeting riku's presence so clearly he is there), so I can only assume that riku is Earnestly Watching (and dual-processing to stop nagi from causing a fuss) trigger while paying 0 attention to the rabbit chat, but then he leaps into the chat window to be like "TEN-NII MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!"
riku nanase could eat a baby and I would find it incredibly endearing

I really wanted to translate 脳内 literally as 'intracranially' because I thought it was hilarious to have nagi say that he communicated intracranially with kujou-shi but it got less hilarious when I realised I had to have mitsuki use the same word so I cut my losses and switched to 'telepathically'
12. but I made up for it by translating イケメン as 'hunk' in the next line
13. I hate passive grammar patterns and I hate the verb ウケる because it could completely go either way in this case??? either ryuu is the only one taking nagi and riku's Great Escape in stride while ten and gaku blow a gasket (but then it's strange that the mafia are being referenced in the same line), or ryuu has flipped his okinawa mafia switch and he's swearing out idolish7 but I can't visualise that either????
the 笑わせるな and 走らせるな both sound like a [gaku voice] to me so it might be that gaku is saying QUIT RUNNING AWAY DON'T MAKE FOOLS OUT OF US and ryuu is like "ah yes here comes the mafia" while referring to gaku? I have No idea
14. I'm not sure what tsumugi means by the huge battle being broadcast but I feel like she might be poking fun at the huge disaster caused by riku and nagi running haywire through the town gathering attention left and right?
15. in the third dialogue path (which I..... somehow...... completely disregarded the existence of, thank you so much @papadorksquall for pointing that out!!), nagi says that gaku "７度見されました" and I have no idea who is being looked at and why so I wrote something that made me laugh and cried

7. the incident where they stole trigger fans happens fairly early on in the main story when idolish7 goes to watch trigger's live for the first time! it's after iori suggests that tsumugi place a moratorium on singing and dancing to try and train Professional Mindsets into the group, and so they aren't allowed to sing or dance for a month(? iirc) leading up to trigger's performance! after the show everyone is Pumped And Motivated and so they start singing and dancing on their way home, but because they're mixed in with all of the trigger fans who are also heading home, a bunch of fans started stopping to watch and listen to them!
later on it became a huge deal because from an outsider's pov, it looked like idolish7 was trying to benefit from trigger's ticket sales, or else trying to steal their customers; in other words, they were trying to get free advertisement! ofc that wasn't their intention at all but iirc this incident is what puts i7 on yaotome papa's radar and starts making him like Super Gung Ho About Crushing IDOLiSH7 Like A Grape
8. idolish7 more like The Story Of Bad Disguises
first we have tsumugi's intellectual sportsman disguise, and then we have kujou ten stopping in at the operating room on his way to see riku's performance, and then we have ten saying that gaku is Incapable Of Disguising Himself, and now there's nagi and riku's disastrous disguises,
I feel like I'm missing a few, but when will it end,
9. I'm not sure if nagi means that they are having candid shots taken of them up the wazoo (in which case I am P Sure That Means You're バレた), or if he's saying that the people behind them are taking pictures of TRIGGER up the wazoo and he and riku just happen to be in the foreground

10. my favorite thing about the second half of this chat is that riku completely drops out as soon as they get to trigger's live recording (meanwhile nagi is livetweeting riku's presence so clearly he is there), so I can only assume that riku is Earnestly Watching (and dual-processing to stop nagi from causing a fuss) trigger while paying 0 attention to the rabbit chat, but then he leaps into the chat window to be like "TEN-NII MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!"
riku nanase could eat a baby and I would find it incredibly endearing

I really wanted to translate 脳内 literally as 'intracranially' because I thought it was hilarious to have nagi say that he communicated intracranially with kujou-shi but it got less hilarious when I realised I had to have mitsuki use the same word so I cut my losses and switched to 'telepathically'
12. but I made up for it by translating イケメン as 'hunk' in the next line

I hate passive grammar patterns and I hate the verb ウケる because it could completely go either way in this case??? either ryuu is the only one taking nagi and riku's Great Escape in stride while ten and gaku blow a gasket (but then it's strange that the mafia are being referenced in the same line), or ryuu has flipped his okinawa mafia switch and he's swearing out idolish7 but I can't visualise that either????
the 笑わせるな and 走らせるな both sound like a [gaku voice] to me so it might be that gaku is saying QUIT RUNNING AWAY DON'T MAKE FOOLS OUT OF US and ryuu is like "ah yes here comes the mafia" while referring to gaku? I have No idea
14. I'm not sure what tsumugi means by the huge battle being broadcast but I feel like she might be poking fun at the huge disaster caused by riku and nagi running haywire through the town gathering attention left and right?
15. in the third dialogue path (which I..... somehow...... completely disregarded the existence of, thank you so much @papadorksquall for pointing that out!!), nagi says that gaku "７度見されました" and I have no idea who is being looked at and why so I wrote something that made me laugh and cried
