3. idk the general impression I get is that I feel like sougo tends to project a lot when he's drunk? the fact that he's clingy when drunk is probably meant to reflect how he's scared of people (his uncle) leaving him, and so idk seeing other characters play off of that always gives me mixed feelings because it's almost like a form of enabling?
idk it is late and here I am analysing drunk character personality patterns but I guess I've always felt like sougo's drunken habits are meant to be written as something he himself views as shameful (which is ironic bc in a sense the way he acts when he's drunk is kind of like sougo - his inhibitions); I think that sober sougo thinks he needs to strengthen his inhibitions so he won't experience the same regrets he did in the past whereas drunk sougo just kind of says "well fuck it" and goes wild for those same reasons, so there's kind of an internal conflict there? hence why sober!sougo is always filled with Upset. Regret after he gets drunk, regardless of which approach is the ''healthier'' option in the long run......
tl;dr I used to have a lot of things to say about drunk sougo but then it became a 使いすぎたネタ

4. tbh tho sougo ousaka is the grossest character in idolish7 imo

haha, well, you see, that's because I too am gross
5. regarding how to apply what sougo's saying to the situation about his uncle, I'd have to reread the story segments to remember all of the details properly, but iirc there was more time passing between his uncle leaving the family and his uncle dying? the impression I got was that his uncle got disinherited(?) for pursuing music and died in pseudo-poverty (I say pseudo because obviously compared to the big name fsc that is sougo's dad's company pretty much everything else seems poor and since his uncle released albums clearly he had some degree of access to resources) (although it could've been like garage band tier stuff who knows) sometime later, so idk what the deal is with vague subjects being scolded at drinking parties and who is going home suddenly but I can at least presume that it's his uncle who's referred to as passing away?

anyways idk why sougo's dad (and potentially the rest of his family since they were all talkin trash at ousaka ojisan's funeral) Hates Music so much but I'm pretty sure it's something that precluded his uncle's decision to become a musician? the main theme that I remember from sougo talking about his past is less so how or when his uncle died and moreso how everyone at the funeral kept watching and saying ほら、やっぱり about how of course he was gonna go and kick the bucket, of course music is a pointless thing, look at him he died in poverty and squalor, whereas sougo wanted to tell them that it wasn't true and that his uncle had lived happily
in his outdoor fest chapters iirc sougo mentions that he wants to sing as a way to prove that he chose the right path or s/t like that and I'm pretty sure that's a reference to this as well!
