Regarding how he has a lot of acquaintances who are people in the industry.

1. I was going to put a note here about how I'm alive but then I spent four hours grinding on the event and unlocked a different chat which I then decided to translate first
anyways, thank y'all for bearing with me while I was away!
2. the title of this chat is 漢と漢 and the literal translation is in fact Man and Man which already looks p awkward to me and the longer I look at it the more awkward it looks But basically 漢 when it's used to mean man looks like it has a lot of connotation and nuance and it's either meant to mean 'man of honour' or else have a negative connotation? I guess?? anyways I think the title is probably meant to refer to yamato! it might be literally intended to be like 'an honourable but simultaneously kind of shady man", as a way of referring to yamato's kinda duplicitous nature, maybe? it makes sense to me but I'm not sure how exactly to explain it.....
3. 適当 having opposite meanings has never been so tedious to translate before
4. for the third dialogue paths, mitsuki was using 格好つけ (I translated it as "putting on airs") to talk about what guys want to do, and then tsumugi responds by saying that he's "格好いい" — both words use the same 格好 base, so in this case I think the reason tsumugi says that mitsuki is cool is because she's saying that he's Legit Cool instead of just being a guy who Tries To Seem Cool
it's the same 格好良い/cool that mitsuki then uses to describe yamato in the first path, too!
5. mitsuki picking up on yamato feeling bad towards him has me clutching at my chest
ftr, yamato references that same fact in his third unit chat as well! how he feels bad towards mitsuki, like he's putting his dream to waste, etc.!
6. やばい is my fave japanese word bc it's like a combination of 'crap' and 'uh oh' but it can be used in both positive and negative contexts
7. btw, I think I mentioned this in yamato's third chapter, but this chat takes place chronologically before either nagi's or yamato's third unit chat!
