leopardeyes【MITSUKI】： To the point where he cried and started begging that we at least spare his life.
【TSUMUGI】： Yamato-san did!?
【TSUMUGI】： Mitsuki-san, thank you for all of your hard work at the costume fitting for the unit song!
【MITSUKI】： Thanks for all of your hard work—!
Yamato-san, he was completely embarrassed so it was super funny!
【TSUMUGI】： The way he kept fidgeting was very endearing, wasn't it!
He was also ridiculously embarrassed for the rabbit hoodies, too!
【MITSUKI】： To be sure, he's got squinty eyes that are pretty far from a fancy image, that onii-san.
【MITSUKI】： Even still, for the album unit, I'm happy it's with this lineup!
They're guys whose tempers I already know really well, after all!
【TSUMUGI】： Everyone gets along very well, yes!
Normally, what sort of things do the three of you do together?
【MITSUKI】： There's not really anything specific we do, but...
【MITSUKI】： Whenever it comes down to doing something, it feels like Nagi's constantly hovering around with that aura of his, while Yamato-san gets down to helping right away.
【MITSUKI】： But fundamentally, Yamato-san likes being by himself, doesn't he.
Whenever we stay at hotels he always goes and takes the single ahead of time.
【TSUMUGI】： Whenever everyone is staying somewhere together, it always has to be three twin rooms and one single room, after all.
【MITSUKI】： Right, right.
That's why, one time before, thinking that we'd try to surprise him, Nagi and I got to talking about launching an assault on his hotel room as the two of us.
【TSUMUGI】： That seems like it would be funny!
【MITSUKI】： While we were talking about it we started getting excited, and since we might be able to use it on the web programme, we talked about running a camera, or something!
【MITSUKI】： Then, we said if we're trying to spook him, shouldn't we dress up like muggers?, and so we put on ski masks.
【TSUMUGI】： I, it sounds like you went considerably all-out for this.
【MITSUKI】： So then when we launched the assault like "Uwaah—!", Yamato-san got freaked out.
To the point where he cried and started begging that we at least spare his life.
【TSUMUGI】： Yamato-san did!?
【MITSUKI】： Yeah. We started feeling pretty bad, so with pale faces, we immediately revealed ourselves and apologized.
【TSUMUGI】： I, it must have been acting...?
【MITSUKI】： It was acting...........
On top of that, it seems like he'd caught onto our plan, and so we were filmed.......
【TSUMUGI】： That's incredible, Yamato-san! He's thoroughly skilled!
【MITSUKI】： Ever since that day, the video called "Mitsuki and Nagi Awkwardly Removing Ski Masks" has been made into a hostage.........
【MITSUKI】： If something like that ever got shown to Iori... I'd.........

GOD I don't even know if there's really a ''center'' proper for pythagoras trio but I do know that mitsuki being in the middle and linking nagi and yamato together for the cards makes me Emotional的
2. mitsuki says that it was 超ウケた for yamato to be ridiculously embarrassed and while I admit that 90% of why I hate translating ウケる is probably because I feel like an eleven year old on gaia online whenever I use the term uke but the other 10% is because in the context it's being used in these chats, it's basically slang for something being well-received? so in this case mitsuki saying it was uketa for yamato to be embarrassed means that he's saying it was pretty great and if there had been a crowd, they would have been going wild
3. rabbit hoodies is referring to monster generation, obvs! if yamato was dying of embarrassment his acting power is v. sasuga for the MV itself
unrelated but do you think that tamaki falling out of the spaceship and iori reaching out for him was an accident but they decided to keep it because it was cute
4. please all I want for new years is for the izumi brothers to stop referring to yamato as "ano onii-san" especially mitsuki stOP ENABLING HIm
5. at least mitsuki has some degree of tan but please oh my god nagi would look so ridiculous in a black ski mask
6. I can't believe I passed up ANOTHER chance to make a "he caught onto our keikaku*" (*keikaku means plan) joke
7. I'm not quite sure what exactly mitsuki is saying yamato and nagi do when they do things as a group, but the general impression I get is that he's trying to say that when they do things as a group, nagi meddles and just sort of Generally Exists with his genki aura of love, whereas yamato gets right down to it and does whatever it is that needs to be done
which is weird, because it kind of runs opposite to his lazy onii-san attitude
