I've received a questionnaire from the production staff, so could I possibly have you tell me about your memories of your academy life, Yamato-san?
【YAMATO】： Ehhh?
My club was the Go Home Early one, and so I don't really have those sorts of memories.
【TSUMUGI】： H, how about class excursions or school festivals.......
【YAMATO】： Onii-san was reaaaal smooth at ignoring all of those tedious-seeming things, and living in peace.
【YAMATO】： They're not student activities, but I did a lot of odd jobs.
Since I wanted cash.

What sort of jobs did you do?
【YAMATO】： Including everything up until university, there was the convenience store, a call center, a karaoke bar, movie theatre, rental shop........
Other stuff, I scraped by.

The quality of customers at the convenience store late at night was pretty interesting—.

1. ok, first of all, I opened my game to open this chat and my sougo center only got halfway through his "if you're awake" line before I shrieked
actually more first of all I burned 10,000 FP on puddings to bribe the secrets of Yamato's Past out of this man and all I have to show for it is yamato calling tsumugi cute *gasps*
2. I'm starting to suspect that yamato's actually meant to speak with a slight kansai dialect (all of the わs are starting to grate on me) and this would probably mean more to me if I actually Knew Jack about japanese dialects aside from "they exist"
3. "大学まで" dOES THIS MEAN YOU WENT TO UNIVERSITy
4. yamato says "他にも細々と" and 細々 can mean a variety of things ranging from "a variety of small things" to "poor living" (the latter of which is the one I chose for my translation) and either way I am squinting because I'm pretty sure that's where the entertainment industry rears is ugly head
or else, that's the reason he cut off @ age 18
5. "wasn't I a jellyfish in my past life" yamato nikaido telling it like it is
6. fifth chapters are a Heckin Pain to unlock but they always feel shorter and more straightforward than the rest of the chats (usually it's like the 2nd and 4th chapters that are the most nightmarish) and I always find myself asking if it was really worth burning 10,000 friend points to pray for R melody puddings
