2. tamaki's line about how 'yes' is a lie might not seem straightforward at first but the way I interpret it is that he hears sougo say "yes" to the question of "are the two of you good friends" and whatever it is that he says after the 'yes' doesn't matter because answering 'yes' to the question of them being good friends is Already A Lie?

3. *paces laps around the kitchen* I love tamaki yotsuba so mcuh
4. tsumugi describing sougo's scolding tamaki as a Defensive Anti-Scolding maneuver makes me laugh (but also makes me sad bc it's true that sougo is v defensive of tamaki) because I didn't know you could stick くれる onto 叱る; tsumugi's conjugating the verb 'to scold' as if sougo is doing tamaki a kindness (which is good intermediation on tsumugi's part but that's another story)
5. rather than saying she's proud of him, tsumugi actually calls tamaki "えらい", which is a very short word that has the very long meaning of finding someone's behavior to be very admirable and standout and thus wanting to praise them.
6. I can't say for certain whether tsumugi is right about sougo's intentions of scolding tamaki ahead of time so that he doesn't get scolded by other people because he doesn't want tamaki to be disliked by other people (if anything I can see him scolding tamaki ahead of time so that other people don't have to go to the trouble of scolding him/having trouble caused by him) because personally I think tsumugi is probably giving sougo too much credit! imo it's more like a bad reflex on his part, but, I mean, for sougo growing up manners were clearly something that were heavily emphasized, so, to be fair
but what I can say is that sougo pretty clearly feels bad for constantly scolding tamaki and at the very least is aware he needs to be more considerate of tamaki's feelings
