1. I changed my icons a while ago but all I've been translating is massive character chats so I actually got really excited to see mitsuki's icon again LOL my ray of sunshine....
2. mitsuki calls the people who picked a fight "ガキンチョ" and I'm not getting any immediate hits on my dictionary but it resembles the word that I saw used for playground bully in tamaki's 5th i7a chapter, so I'm rolling with it. the other possible meaning could be "small fry"?
3. mitsuki references his 少林寺拳法 and technically it is a modern japanese martial art that is only based on shaolin kung fu but my tried and true MO struck again and so I translated it as shaolin kung fu
4. mitsuki says that tamaki's "血の気が荒いし" and I'm not really sure how you'd make "complexion is rough" sound right in english so I switched the wording around for what the general impression of what I figured mitsuki was trying to say about tamaki was. can't believe yamato nikaido is confirmed for a trashtalker tho smh
5. I think it's implied that time passes between tsumugi saying 'good night' and tsumugi saying 'mitsuki-san you liar!!!!', btw!
6. apparently the word tsumugi uses for questioning sougo can also mean 'to cross examine' and I can't believe the i7 x aa au strikes again after gaku yaotome was cast as phoenix wright
7. うひょー??? ? ?? ? ?? uhyo??? mitsuki what kind of noise is that even??
8. sougo might be my all time fave but it is mitsuki izumi whose existence I thank god for every day. anyways, the reason that mitsuki's so insistent on how he didn't get into a fight (lie) and then how he didn't do anything aggressive (basically, he didn't try to fight back or get violent or lay a hand on the other party) is, I'm guessing, probably because it'd potentially be a scandal if idols were caught fistfighting. hence why he's saying he wouldn't do anything to cause problems for the office or the other (members)!
but apparently that's not enough to stop him from dropkicking yamato huh
9. tsumugi's overprotective mom streak strikes again at the end of this chat and I almost feel like mitsuki is recoiling like how he would if he were being scolded by his parents, too tbh
10. I switch randomly back and forth between translating ああ as "yeah" and as "aaa" depending on the context, this is one where I would have wanted to translate it as 'yeah', but if I write "Yeah, right, right" it looks sarcastic and if I write "Yeah, that's true, that's true" it's.... too many syllables...... petition for mitsuki and yamato to stop repeating words for emphasis
