1. I have so many things to say about this chat but it is so long I don't know if I'll even remember everything by the time I get to the parts I have so many things to say about
anyways, this chat picks up immediately after riku's mongen cd bonus part 1!
2. lots of otsukaresamas and yoroshikus get thrown around in this chat, I've translated them differently moreso to avoid repetition than to convey a different meaning! whenever you see a thanks for your hard work or looking forward/please be nice to us, it's.... basically just good manners being displayed!

4. just to spice things up I left sankyu as sankyu this time
5. alright so sougo's introductory paragraph is kind of a nightmare of honorific language and not only because he mentions the christmas special program again, but because sougo ousaka is pulling out all of the stops and I can't stop crying but my favorite thing is how everyone else probably barely skimmed it before proceeding to be like "ok, moving on" and meanwhile we have ryuu seriously taking the time to read it and then being like "oh! this was an apology to me!" (like five minutes later) (because that's probably how long it took to read and decipher sougo's manifesto)
the reason he talks about the reality of the petname being something he used on a day to day basis is probably because even when mitsuki (god bless his heart) tried to defend sougo, he was like "ok well yeah we call you eroi BUT IN A GOOD WAY SO DON'T WORRY" and sougo is slowly becoming one with the earth and whispering the only one who calls him an eroero beast is you mitsuki-san
my favorite thing is probably gaku taking one look at that and being like "did I just step on a landmine by saying let's be comfortable........?"
6. ten asks if it's 縦読み; basically, where you read vertically down text that's written horizontally. sort of like an acronym sort of code? basically what ten's getting at, though, is he's asking if sougo wrote all of that tl;dr for the sake of hiding some sort of simpler coded message in it

7. 担当 basically just means that you're on duty for something, but there's no real cleanly succinct way to phrase that in english..... what ryuu is saying though is basically just that being eroi is something that got delegated to him and that's all
more importantly when did tamaki go through his character development because he still has the voicebank line saying "so apparently I'm the ero tantou according to yamasan" and I still remember tamaki getting grumpy because tsumugi didn't think he was sexy in his halloween chats so where is the lie??
8. yamato refers to the members as 君たち when he talks about them being in sync (usually he uses お前(ら) and he called ten おまえさん in the first secret night chat, also sometimes he calls the player おまえさん too during like his voicebank lines and stuff) and I wish I knew more about second person pronouns so I could comment on just what exactly it means
9. unsure if riku is saying that tamaki got the nosebleed or he gave someone else a nosebleed but all I know is there are so many strange jdramas where characters get random nosebleeds and apparently it's hot? so
I have no idea what the skirt lifting line is supposed to mean, but I also have no idea if tamaki is saying he outgrew all of that 10 years ago, or if he's saying that he's ten years too early to be doing any of the stuff riku's suggesting. I'm not sure which would be more concerning, the idea that 7 year old tamaki was a total playah, or the idea that 17 year old tamaki thinks you have to be 27 in order to be able to do any of that

10. tamaki and gaku's は and あs should be read in your best yankee grunt please
11. every time I read gaku's response to riku being like "maybe you angered ten-nii" I hear the navy seals copypasta in my head

I'm pretty sure that sougo and ryuu are having pretty much their own constant and drawn-out conversation here even though it's split in between all of the other changing topics! ryuu being glad about sougo's resurrection is probably because of nagi's dramatic narration of sougo fainting in agony, etc.
13. am I the only one who thinks that 滅相 and メッゾ sound really similar
14. I can't say whether it's ten's 本音 or because he's trying to abide by his promise w/ yamato (although if it's the latter that's still endearing), but it's nice of him to throw riku a bone by pointing out that he listened to the song by the spoiled younger brothers combo
ten, listening to this song: so you're going to throw away your feelings of relying on other peoples' kindness huh
if he's heard the song then no wonder he used a line that was practically ripped from fly away when he was talking to tsumugi that one time, though
15. ryuu needs to stop introducing himself because there are only so many times I can write ryunashi tsunosuke before I start to think that's actually his name
16. yamato does refer to himself as the 一応 leader, which..... I would probably have more to say about that way of referring to himself if I weren't at sixteen translation notes and not even halfway through the self introductions. I've translated it as "for the time being", but it's not so much that yamato thinks he's going to be replaced/replace himself at some point in the future as I think it's referring to how he was sort of hastily elected the leader just because he was the oldest rather than based on merit or s/t
and, so like, there's the self-deprecating thing, too
17. I went over mitsuki's introduction as carefully as I could because I wanted to make sure I covered all of the aspects, so it might read a bit messily, especially the fair-playing part..... I think what mitsuki is basically trying to say is that even though he's messed up over their song being stolen, he's glad that the people who sang it were people who play fair like TRIGGER, rather than having their song stolen by a corrupt or rotten-attituded group
18. I am.... not sure what ten's 言ってくれる in response to iori's proclamation is meant to mean, so I just translated it literally and hoped for the best.
19. tamaki is such a good kid I just wish his speech patterns weren't so difficult to translate!!!!! tamaki's speech patterns are so difficult to give a consistent voice!!!! I struggle with this every day and I am crying especially as tamaki becomes more eloquent chat by chat

1. I have so many things to say about this chat but it is so long I don't know if I'll even remember everything by the time I get to the parts I have so many things to say about
anyways, this chat picks up immediately after riku's mongen cd bonus part 1!
2. lots of otsukaresamas and yoroshikus get thrown around in this chat, I've translated them differently moreso to avoid repetition than to convey a different meaning! whenever you see a thanks for your hard work or looking forward/please be nice to us, it's.... basically just good manners being displayed!

5. alright so sougo's introductory paragraph is kind of a nightmare of honorific language and not only because he mentions the christmas special program again, but because sougo ousaka is pulling out all of the stops and I can't stop crying but my favorite thing is how everyone else probably barely skimmed it before proceeding to be like "ok, moving on" and meanwhile we have ryuu seriously taking the time to read it and then being like "oh! this was an apology to me!" (like five minutes later) (because that's probably how long it took to read and decipher sougo's manifesto)
the reason he talks about the reality of the petname being something he used on a day to day basis is probably because even when mitsuki (god bless his heart) tried to defend sougo, he was like "ok well yeah we call you eroi BUT IN A GOOD WAY SO DON'T WORRY" and sougo is slowly becoming one with the earth and whispering the only one who calls him an eroero beast is you mitsuki-san
my favorite thing is probably gaku taking one look at that and being like "did I just step on a landmine by saying let's be comfortable........?"
6. ten asks if it's 縦読み; basically, where you read vertically down text that's written horizontally. sort of like an acronym sort of code? basically what ten's getting at, though, is he's asking if sougo wrote all of that tl;dr for the sake of hiding some sort of simpler coded message in it

7. 担当 basically just means that you're on duty for something, but there's no real cleanly succinct way to phrase that in english..... what ryuu is saying though is basically just that being eroi is something that got delegated to him and that's all
more importantly when did tamaki go through his character development because he still has the voicebank line saying "so apparently I'm the ero tantou according to yamasan" and I still remember tamaki getting grumpy because tsumugi didn't think he was sexy in his halloween chats so where is the lie??
8. yamato refers to the members as 君たち when he talks about them being in sync (usually he uses お前(ら) and he called ten おまえさん in the first secret night chat, also sometimes he calls the player おまえさん too during like his voicebank lines and stuff) and I wish I knew more about second person pronouns so I could comment on just what exactly it means
9. unsure if riku is saying that tamaki got the nosebleed or he gave someone else a nosebleed but all I know is there are so many strange jdramas where characters get random nosebleeds and apparently it's hot? so
I have no idea what the skirt lifting line is supposed to mean, but I also have no idea if tamaki is saying he outgrew all of that 10 years ago, or if he's saying that he's ten years too early to be doing any of the stuff riku's suggesting. I'm not sure which would be more concerning, the idea that 7 year old tamaki was a total playah, or the idea that 17 year old tamaki thinks you have to be 27 in order to be able to do any of that

11. every time I read gaku's response to riku being like "maybe you angered ten-nii" I hear the navy seals copypasta in my head

I'm pretty sure that sougo and ryuu are having pretty much their own constant and drawn-out conversation here even though it's split in between all of the other changing topics! ryuu being glad about sougo's resurrection is probably because of nagi's dramatic narration of sougo fainting in agony, etc.
13. am I the only one who thinks that 滅相 and メッゾ sound really similar
14. I can't say whether it's ten's 本音 or because he's trying to abide by his promise w/ yamato (although if it's the latter that's still endearing), but it's nice of him to throw riku a bone by pointing out that he listened to the song by the spoiled younger brothers combo
ten, listening to this song: so you're going to throw away your feelings of relying on other peoples' kindness huh
if he's heard the song then no wonder he used a line that was practically ripped from fly away when he was talking to tsumugi that one time, though
15. ryuu needs to stop introducing himself because there are only so many times I can write ryunashi tsunosuke before I start to think that's actually his name
16. yamato does refer to himself as the 一応 leader, which..... I would probably have more to say about that way of referring to himself if I weren't at sixteen translation notes and not even halfway through the self introductions. I've translated it as "for the time being", but it's not so much that yamato thinks he's going to be replaced/replace himself at some point in the future as I think it's referring to how he was sort of hastily elected the leader just because he was the oldest rather than based on merit or s/t
and, so like, there's the self-deprecating thing, too
17. I went over mitsuki's introduction as carefully as I could because I wanted to make sure I covered all of the aspects, so it might read a bit messily, especially the fair-playing part..... I think what mitsuki is basically trying to say is that even though he's messed up over their song being stolen, he's glad that the people who sang it were people who play fair like TRIGGER, rather than having their song stolen by a corrupt or rotten-attituded group
18. I am.... not sure what ten's 言ってくれる in response to iori's proclamation is meant to mean, so I just translated it literally and hoped for the best.
19. tamaki is such a good kid I just wish his speech patterns weren't so difficult to translate!!!!! tamaki's speech patterns are so difficult to give a consistent voice!!!! I struggle with this every day and I am crying especially as tamaki becomes more eloquent chat by chat

21. dang only 21 translation notes I must be slacking. maybe I should comment on how the four people to take concern with tsumugi crying are yamato (looks @ halloween ch5), iori (looks @ general mother hen nature), riku (looks @ cinnamon roll nature), and gaku (looks @ the camera)
anyways, tsumugi refers to the crosstalk of the era and now that I think about it and having read the second (and last) chat on the secret night card, I have to wonder if maybe she's predicting just how frickin' scrambled that chat gets
