1. with each passing day I become more and more certain that the dictionary definition of 絡む is not the same as the street/functional definition
2. I am not sure how to interpret kujou ten asking riku, with a straight face, if iori isn't too harsh when he talks to him. is this meant to show that ten has 0 self awareness, or
3. the rhyming is unintentional it is 7am
4. I feel like ten is kinda talking down to riku in this chat tbh! he's using a lot of the よ sentence endings (I think I've talked about how that generally implies that the speaker thinks they're imparting knowledge onto the listener, or telling them something that they weren't aware of already), and consistently refers to riku as "you" instead of by name. both of these are kinda tricky to translate into english properly, and maybe talking down isn't the right way to put it, but the general impression I'm getting from ten's behavior is that he's puling the big brother card on riku
to be fair I don't know if ten is really trying to sound superior or bossy with riku; he once called it a bad habit (it was in one of his rehearsal showtime chats) and I remember at the time interpreting it as being more like self-defacing on ten's part, like it's a bad tic of his to constantly look out for riku's health even though the way he was doing so was something I interpreted as being very subtle and kind, but I think it could also be something that ten views as a Literal Bad Habit?
like, if you think about it from ten's perspective, he was pretty much raised to constantly look after riku's needs, and tbh from what I can tell it's pretty well-established that the nanase parents placed a lot of responsibility on ten (although they balanced it out by praising him frequently). then, several years passed where ten wasn't there to look after riku, and now suddenly he's being placed in a situation where he 1. knows that it's a stressful environment 2. has the impetus to look after riku again, so I think it's only natural that he'd be a bit overbearing? like, it might be too severe of a term, but you could almost call it a relapse on ten's end....
basically what I'm trying to say here is yea ten sure is kind of being a jerk in this chat but take it with a grain of salt......
5. "dropping one's physical condition" looks pretty strange but in japanese I'm fairly certain that ten is making something that would normally be a passive state of being into an active action on his part; rather than saying that tamaki helped him when his physical condition was bad, he's saying that tamaki helped him when he (ten) was doing poorly with his physical condition, or had messed up his physical condition
basically kujou ten is confirmed for being the guy who blames himself for getting sick
6. ten has so much interest in tamaki, first he's like "lend him to me so I can take him with me to disneyland and have him save seats" and now he's like "let me re-discipline him"
7. finally ten kujou addresses my concern of "tsumugi silently watching the rabbit chat, awkwardly folding her paper napkin"
8. I think the reason ten mentions mitsuki and nagi taking photos w/ riku has something to do with their day off chats, I vaguely remember reading something like that........
