1. when ryuu talks about learning english through talking to foreigners (iirc his family runs a hotel in okinawa (same one i7 stayed at for their pv shooting) so that's why he talks about the hotel!), he uses a grammar form that means basically "over the course of doing [x]" — it's pretty much a slightly extended and more overarching way of saying "while", but I didn't want to write 'over the course' because that looked funky, and writing 'while' made it seem like ryuu was trying to say that he one day Learned English Completely While Speaking To A Foreigner
when actually what he's saying is just that he learned it over time while speaking to foreigners
2. I don't think it's ever specified where ten studied abroad in the story, but apparently it's an english-speaking country! the whole study abroad deal probably has to do with ten leaving the nanase family w/ kujou-san, going abroad w/ kujou-san to study, and then returning to japan and being passed over to yaotome productions?
gaku says that his dad referred to ten as being an 預かりもの from kujou-san, and at first I thought that was meant to imply kujou-san had entrusted ten to yaotome sr. (and so the implication was that yaotome sr. had to make sure to treat ten properly because this kujou-san, who is apparently probably a pretty big deal, had entrusted his music prodigy to him), but it could also just be the simpler meaning of "this kid was in kujou-san's custody" (and thus instead meant to imply that kujou ten was not actually blood related to kujou-san — this meaning seems equally likely to me because iirc that's the same scene where gaku starts going on like "YOU WERE ORIGINALLY NANASE TEN", so!)
3. "what's true tokyoite mean" that's a good question
from what I can tell, I think the simplest meaning would be to just call it a dialect! ryuu calls gaku an edokko and so there's a bit of connotation there (I'm guessing it's somewhat political and history-related and so take my interpretation w/ a grain of uneducated salt), but basically it's referring to the dialect (and personality traits) of someone who was raised in a specific part of japan (in this case, edo/tokyo)! I think there's a bit of nationalism going on with the name and existence, since an edokko is apparently technically someone who can claim their family's been in the same area for generations (so basically, a pure-ish bloodline kinda thing)
apparently the associated personality traits include being assertive, straightforward, cheerful, and..... (squints @ yaotome sr)...... being perhaps a bit mercantile.......
4. unsure if ryuu's だって is meant to be quoting or not but I was already crying over having to write ひ and し into the transcript
