1. the word 扮する (to disguise/be dressed as) keeps showing up in these chats and I still? don't quite get what it means tbh....! so that made translating tsumugi's second line a journey and a half. I've translated it literally for now, but I'm not sure who exactly is doing the disguising and what they're disguising of.
is nagi disguising himself as iori?
2. ah.... here's the artificial hand.... no, I still don't really understand what's happening......
3. the kaomoji is a callback to nagi's 2nd i7a chapter, btw!
4. they're saying that iori wore the costume willingly but iori is saying he was deceived by the culottes
5. nagi's laugh is literally a kukuku, I...... I know that a lot of people will like replace laughter with more appropriate english phrasings when they translate, but heck if I know which laughter applies where! so I've left it as kukuku
6. who is darkness ambassador captain rock and why are they in kokona. when will we get to see what kokona is even abOUT (if it's in nagi's off day card I will eat a shoe)

I don't think nagi is using the proverb right because I think it's meant to mean similarly to judging a book by its cover? so it'd be kind of like if nagi said "today, iori has entered the world of kokona by judging from its cover" or s/t like that, it's.... not quite the right application! but I also think it was written that way on purpose with nagi meant to be mis-using the phrasing.
but at the same time he is kind of using it correctly because I think his next line (is really confusing) is meant to say that he's waiting for iori to also judge kokona by the inside of its cover, too
8. me translating this chat: just this one last chat before I can light myself on fire. nagi kept talking about iori and I was sitting here listening to the rabbit chat tone go off like please god all I want to do is light myself on fire
9. actually this chat gave me the opportunity to light myself on fire anyways because nagi's line about "works that are beloved by others become the ways in which people can communicate" hit me right in the kokoro, I've been struck with that anew recently (collective sigh from the audience as u all realize I am about to become a total sap again) in realizing that media brings people together, yo. I pretty much started from the ground up with my translations and I've spoken to so many new people because of it (even people from japan!!! holy heckamole every day I am so amazed by how my translations made it overseas to the land of the source material). rokuya nagi knows what's up
