【TSUMUGI】： Because "Star Camp" was originally an audition programme, with the theme of the instant a star is scouted, I've heard that they'll be requesting comments from a few participants in between live shows.

1. just one more chat and I can say goodbye to the days of copy/pasting the same greeting for every chat although I have a sinking feeling the joker flag chats will follow a similar premise (I still haven't read riku's or iori's yet)
2. nagi's "we" is just as indistinct in japanese but since he talks about wanting to see tsumugi's face I'm guessing it would've been the dramatic retelling of how nagi and tsumugi met
you were playing basketball son I'm not sure how romantically you can really spin that
3. I'm not sure how much about nagi's arrival in japan is really talked about, so uh, potential story spoilers?? nagi came to japan specifically to watch the president from afar (or at least that was one of his reasons — nagi was the one who anonymously sent the songs that idolish7 sings to the president, and so he had wanted to come to japan to see how the president would make use of those songs) (the song thing is another weird plothole if you ask me and my understanding of it though), so from the very beginning I think nagi realized who the president was when he was first called out to? I think that's why he calls it a fated meeting, since on the president's side, he didn't realize that nagi was the one who had sent him those songs
THE SONG PLOTHOLE GOT ME LIKE [squinting at chronology], but I think the reason nagi doesn't actually say any of that ^ outright in this chat is because he doesn't open up about being the one who sent in the songs or even that being the reason for why he came to japan up until like the penultimate chapter of the main story, so I'm guessing that chronology-wise the indoor fest chapters take place prior to that? hence why nagi says it's a secret as to why he was in the area
see the nice thing about nagi's secrets is that when he references them I can be like oh yeah that was covered in the main story
meanwhile on the other end of the spectrum we have the mysterious onii-san who has not revealed even a shred of his personal circumstances nor backstory in part one of the main story
4. just who it was that met nagi through the fortuitous encounter is meant to be implied SO IT could be the president, it could be tsumugi (as per my translation), or it could be idolish7 in general? it's not specified clearly......
5. when he talks about the home communities (first of all my dictionary gave me the most unhelpful definition for 社交場), cultural enclave was the closest guess to what I think he's probably describing. like, a community of people from his home country? at first I thought maybe he was talking about an embassy, but I think there'd probably be a proper word that would translate that way.....
he seems a bit young to already be working as a cultural ambassador tho [squints]
