【MITSUKI】: Even though you're together, you're arguing via rabbit chat?
【RIKU】: Before sending those messages we'd already fought verbally, but I thought I'd say it here too just in case.

【RIKU】: We're back!

【IORI】: We're back

【NAGI】: Gw

【YAMATO】: Thanks for all your hard work. Where did the two of you go today, again?

【IORI】: We were guests on a quiz program at a Tokyo TV station.

【MITSUKI】: Good work— Did you take first?

【IORI】: We were second

【RIKU】: Iori tried his best, so it was really too bad—

【IORI】: You were sitting right next to me, so if you could please not speak as if it's someone else's problem.

【RIKU】: I was praising you, though! Since you really tried your best for the team, I thought it was great of you!

【MITSUKI】: Are you guys in two separate places right now?

【IORI】: No. We're in the dorm's living room.

【MITSUKI】: Even though you're together, you're arguing via rabbit chat?

【RIKU】: Before sending those messages we'd already fought verbally, but I thought I'd say it here too just in case.

【NAGI】: I see. It is a live broadcast of the fight, then.

【RIKU】: Nagiii—! How's Hokkaido? Since you left before we could see each other in the morning I felt really lonely—!

【NAGI】

【RIKU】

【NAGI】: Riku, you are truly a most wonderful person. If you were here before me now, I would have sent you one million blown kisses.
【NAGI】: Yamato and Mitsuki, you must learn from Riku's example!

【MITSUKI】: I'm lonely without you Nagi><

【YAMATO】: It's super lonely><

【TSUMUGI】: Thank you all for all of your hard work! It seems like everyone has already gathered!
【TSUMUGI】: I'm still currently in the middle of a meeting, but it seems that it will end according to schedule.
Once it's over, I will contact everyone again.
[1]: What were you all talking about?
[2]: Iori-san, how was the recording for the quiz show?
[3]: Yamato-san, how was the drama filming on location?

【TSUMUGI】: What were you all talking about?

【NAGI】: Everyone was lamenting the fact that a Tokyo without me was as lonely as the beach at night.
Goodness gracious, being so popular is a trouble in its own right.

【TSUMUGI】: I'm sorry to trouble you while you were so busy...!
【TSUMUGI】: I will return again later, so at that time I'd like for us to officially,
Hold a meeting regarding the ideas for the live show pamphlets and schedule!

【RIKU】: Right! Thanks for all your hard work!

【MITSUKI】: Roger—

【TSUMUGI】: Iori-san, how was the recording for the quiz show?

【IORI】: It proceeded acceptably. Our result was second place.
Please excuse us for not being able to bring home the prize of one million yen.

【TSUMUGI】: Yamato-san, how was the drama filming on location?

【YAMATO】: The weather looked like it'd worsen so we pushed things up, but somehow things worked out.
Once I get back I'll give you the souvenir manjuu I brought.

【MITSUKI】: Roger—

t/n:

1. as it was with the first chapter, twitter user berselium provided me with screenshots for this chat, thank you again so much!!

2. I'm pretty sure that this chat picks up from where part 1 left off, so first of all my otsukaresama woes continue into this one, and second of all the general flow of the different i7 members filtering in and out of the chatroom follows!

3. since the riku and iori chorus is probably the highlight of the next chat, I've tried to translate their words verbatim wherever possible — so if it looks repetitive, that's why.....

4. "why did you translate 'otsukaresama' as 'we're back'?" because I've lost all hope for this world, otsukaresama killed thanksgiving

basically, I've mentioned before how otsukaresama is being used by characters to announce their presence; the reason that they're using otsukaresama rather than any other possible greeting or salutation is (as far as I can tell, at least) twofold: 1), acknowledging that everyone else in the chat has had a very long day full of work and 2). announcing one's own completion of a long day full of work. so in this case, while saying "we're back" does lack point 1's acknowledgment of everyone else's long day full of hard work, I feel like it somewhat subtly implies that riku and iori have returned from a long day of hard work (particularly given that if you read this chat back to back with the first one, they're clearly a bit late to the party). so then, if you squint, the implication is somewhat that they're expressing that their arrival has been somewhat delayed, and the logical reason for why it's delayed is because of said long and tiring day

I........ I probably sound full of it so let me just add on and say that arguably they're somewhat acknowledging everyone else's hard work (point 2) just by saying "we're back" if you read the context I've outlined above — "we're back" gains a large amount of its context from the fact that the chat's been going on for a while and everyone else has been talking and referencing their long days SO IF YOUR GreETING IS bASEd OFf OF tHaT THEn IT IMPLIES THAT YOU've read and are aware of said long and hard days———

.... yea I sound really full of it LOL

5. "gw" continues to how I'll translate nagi's slang for otsukaresama going forward!

6. mitsuki asks if iori (and riku) 優勝'd, which means like Pretty Extreme Victory — I'm guessing he probably used such a dramatic word because he's pretty accustomed to thinking of iori as someone who can do anything perfectly (which is kind of.... a sad thought......... in what's meant to be a cheerful chat), so I translated it as 'did you take first' with the goal being the implied assumption!

.... yes, now I really sound full of myself....

7. mitsuki abbreviates rabbit chat as 'rabicha' (it's a pretty common abbreviation used by fandom too!) but I couldn't think of a cutesy way to shorten rabbit chat so that it would look logical to an english speaker, too..... rabchat..... bunny talk.....

8. originally riku just says nagi—!, but I thought it'd look too much like he was.... retaliating against nagi being like fumu fumu I see, this is live coverage of the ioriku fight, when actually he's like NAGI I'VE BEEN WANTING TO TALK TO YOU!!!!!! HOW WAS YOUR DAY!!!!!!!! I MISSED YOU!!!!!, so I extended his nagiiiii to make it look more like... an affectionate whine? LOL

I'm just trying to see how awkwardly I can justify some of my decisions for this chat I guess

9. mitsuki literally says "roger" and at first I thought he was compounding 'itterasshai' in some horribly compounded form but then I realized no

he's literally just saying 'roger' phonetically
