1. I don't care if it looks strange for tsumugi to refer to probably someone who is older than her as "a child" I'm doing it anyways
2. I think.... ryuu messed up his causative(?) form in this chat? I can't tell if dialogue path #2 is meant to say "what would you want to say" or "what would you want to hear" and so I was trying to look at ryuu's response to get a better sense of which one he replied to, but I can't tell if he's trying to say that he wants to wake the other person up, or be woken up at times like that.
I feel like the fact that he's commenting that he's gotten used to it could imply that it's what he would have wanted to hear, but it could also him saying that he's somewhat struck for ideas on what would be good to say because he's gotten so used to it
but he sounds so jaded either way poor guy.....
anyways, I decided to make it "what would you want to hear" (even though I'd say there is a 50% chance it's the improper interpretation), so that it seemed less redundant w/ dialogue path #3 being "what sort of a voice would you use to call out to that kid"/i.e., what would you want to say to them
3. oh my god this chat is so LONG now I remember why I put off translating it for so long——— anyways, I can't tell what exactly ryuu is trying to say with "TRIGGERはまだいい方だと思うな" — first of all, I'm not sure if the な is supposed to be just a sentence ending particle, or if it's supposed to turn 思う into a negative...... second of all, if it's the former, I'm not sure whether he's talking about himself or tsumugi. so basically there are three potential translations for this line and I'm.... not sure which one is proper....
a. "so you still think that TRIGGER has it good/is a good group" (war flashbacks to [gaku voice] why don't you come on down to our side)
b. "I'd still like to think that TRIGGER is doing pretty well" (since tsumugi did use the past tense when she talked about trigger)
c. "don't think of TRIGGER as being that well-off"
I decided to go with C (although I tried to soften up his grammar a little bit in the translation....) because later he talks about the general difficulties trigger has had in coping with slander (yaotome ga yaomote ni natteta.....), but!
4. uhhh, blanket quoting particle for all of ryuu's lines in the third dialogue path! basically he's saying that this is all stuff that he conveyed to gaku on top of the "we get what it's like" (obviously the 'we' is him and ten)
5. this chat took me an hour to translate and I haven't even gotten up on my soapbox about what a great narrative idolish7 is yet
