IORI IZUMI / HALLOWEEN : PART 2
Nov. 17th, 2015 05:34 pm【TSUMUGI】: Since the concept is devils, maybe we should take it a step further and add horns or wings?
【TSUMUGI】: Iori-san, thank you for all of your hard work!
The costume designs for the new single have arrived.
【TSUMUGI】: What do you think?
I think that there's a balance between a sweet and a dark feeling, but.
【IORI】: Thank you for all of your hard work.
Since it's still within range of IDOLiSH7's color, I don't see any problem?
【IORI】: As I'm not particularly familiar with costuming, I will leave the specific detailing to you and the stylists.
【TSUMUGI】: Understood!
In order to create a dramatic atmosphere, it might be appropriate to make it a bit easier to understand.
【TSUMUGI】: Since the concept is devils, maybe we should take it a step further and add horns or wings?
【IORI】: Rokuya-san would probably be pleased by that. I will leave it to you.
【TSUMUGI】: Roger!
For the sake of references, I'd like to ask you something, Iori-san.....
【TSUMUGI】: What is your image of a devil?
【IORI】: A charming evil with a lovable scope, or something along those lines?
【TSUMUGI】: Thank you very much!
This will definitely come in handy!
【IORI】: Not at all.
Incidentally, manager, do you have any devilish qualities?
【TSUMUGI】: A devilish woman..... I do admire them, a bit.
If I were a devil, what would you do, Iori-san?
【IORI】: I'd scold you.
【TSUMUGI】: What are your devilish aspects, Iori-san?
【IORI】: I don't think that I'm the devilish type, exactly.............
If I'm forced to say something, perhaps it would be that I'm skilled at using the carrot-and-stick method properly?
【TSUMUGI】: Thank you very much!
This will definitely come in handy!
【IORI】: Not at all.

【TSUMUGI】: A devilish woman..... I do admire them, a bit.
If I were a devil, what would you do, Iori-san?
【IORI】: I'd scold you.
【TSUMUGI】: Who is the most devilish in IDOLiSH7?
【IORI】: Wouldn't it be Nii-san?
【IORI】: Nii-san has a complex regarding his appearance, but he'll often go to meat shop owners and such in the shopping district and act cutely while making requests and receive extra croquettes that way.
【IORI】: Last year during Christmas when there were still cakes to sell, an older man said to him, "Working while in high school? That must be rough", to which he replied, "Yep!".
【TSUMUGI】: Thank you very much!
This will definitely come in handy!

t/n:
1. technically the lit. translation for '小悪魔' is just plain "devil" (/imp/rogue), but I've added "little" here and there (i.e., in the title) for the sake of flow!
2. iori says "detailed details" in japanese (the second detail is written in katakana as diteiru and I'm just like Iori Stop Speaking English) (he also writes 'color' in katakana as karaa, and writes words like 'taste' as teisuto too and I'm just like, what is the point of this, is there some nuance I'm missing here..... or is iori just showing off)
anyways, I changed it to specific detailing since I figured that'd sound better than the detailed details!
3. tsumugi refers to a "かわいめ atmosphere", and I wasn't getting back any dictionary hits for 'かわいめ' and even after googling it, all I got were a bunch of articles relating to OLs, so...... image searching resulted in similar results (lots of pictures of OLs), but the general impression I'm getting is, like either "fresh", "girlish", or possibly "romantic".
so I went with "dramatic", because clearly that is an appropriate synonym? —— "dramatic" seemed like the most appropriate word to fit with the flow of making things easier to understand by adding horns and wings. tsumugi please don't tell me you have a furry side, too
4. I'm guessing that the unspoken caveat to iori's second story about mitsuki is that the older guy bought a few cakes from mitsuki out of sympathy for how rough it must be to be a high schooler working late on christmas. poor mitsuki would've been 20 at the time, huh.............
5. I hate iori izumi for asking such a leading question I swear he had that response planned I SWEAr
the word he uses is generally (I think?) meant to mean like 'punish' but I am so tired of these leading words being used in these rabbit chats,
6. idk half of what this rabbit chat even covered content-wise all I know is I went back to the home screen after translating it and I'd supported four lives
