【YAMATO】: This was already a bluff. You didn't even doubt that I knew of a surefire way to win, did you?
【TSUMUGI】: Eh? Ah....!
【TSUMUGI】: Yamato-san, thank you for all of your hard work!
The costume designs for IDOLiSH7's new single have been completed!
【TSUMUGI】: The costumes were made using the image of a chess knight as inspiration.
【YAMATO】: Hoh. Pretty cool.
【TSUMUGI】: Yamato-san, can you play chess?
【YAMATO】: I used to, but now I've completely forgotten how.
I can still play shogi. I play app games like Othello, too.
【TSUMUGI】: So you play games, too, Yamato-san.
What sort of games are you good at?
【YAMATO】: Poker. Blackjack.
I don't play where you have to bet something, though.
【TSUMUGI】: G, gambling is no good.
【YAMATO】: Rather than having to use my head, I'm good at games where I can win by bluffing.
【YAMATO】: You can't win at chess only by having a strategy. Since you have to know all sorts of different moves, bluffing's pointless.
【TSUMUGI】: Can you really win at games by bluffing?
【YAMATO】: If it's the type of game where you can win, sure.
If onii-san were a bad guy, I could've totally ripped off Mitsu and Riku for being easy targets.
【TSUMUGI】: I, I feel sorry for them so please stop it.
【YAMATO】: Should I teach you how to win using bluffs?
【TSUMUGI】: Please do!
【YAMATO】: This was already a bluff. You didn't even doubt that I knew of a surefire way to win, did you?
【TSUMUGI】: Eh? Ah....!
【YAMATO】: Well, I do actually know one. Wanna know?
【TSUMUGI】: Y, you don't actually know, do you? This is a bluff, isn't it?
【YAMATO】: I wonder? Should I tell you after you bet on it?

t/n:
1. I translated "ijiwarui" as "prankster" because although my dictionary tells me that words like mean-spirited and cruel would be the literal translation, in this case, I think it's more like generally benevolent bully yamato? I mean, sadistic is one of the translation hits and I think that's pretty fitting for yamato, but it still seems a bit extreme to translate it to a word that has such a heavy connotation in english.
2. again yamato refers to himself in the third person as onii-san and again I feel strange leaving it in japanese (he says "I" normally later in the chat, though!) but here he is pulling the onii-san card to kinda talk down to riku and mitsuki (hence why tsumugi gets chills down her spine and is like Please Do Not Do That Thing)
the actual line is something that I'm not sure if I'm translating correctly, at first I thought yamato was threatening to roll the two of them up and ship them off to the army or something
3. I translated yamato's last line fairly literally, but I kind of wanted to change it to "wanna bet on it?" — but I already used the wanna x pattern one line previously so it seemed a bit too repetitive like that.... basically though he's bullying tsumugi and this is why yamato nikaido holds the record of having seen tsumugi use the angry kinako sticker two (2) times
4. tsumugi always feels a bit more like.... on guard, when she talks to yamato in the rabbit chats? I think part of it is that she tends to come to him regarding like official group business since he is still the leader (一応), and I think part of it is that she's wary of all the things he says and all the pranks he pulls? either way it feels like she talks to him like she's very much preparing for him to pull something
he is always pulling something
