It is the most depressing land in the world.

【TSUMUGI】： People who have lived in foreign countries do tend to describe Japan's summers as being painful!
【TSUMUGI】： Particularly since you're someone who came from a northern European country, and lately they've been saying that it's as hot as if we're in the subtropics.......
【NAGI】： It feels as if I'm breathing in a sauna.
【NAGI】： I lack the special training and education that is required to live in a sauna.
It is impossible for me to live in the same way as everyone else.
【NAGI】： Perhaps if it weren't necessary for Japanese people to wear clothing and go out on outings?
After all, clothes will only become drenched in sweat. I would also forgive it if we went through our day-to-day life while wearing swimsuits.
【TSUMUGI】： I, I understand how you feel!
Since the dorm's construction is old, the air conditioner's efficiency could be poor.....
I'll be sure to have it inspected!
【NAGI】： There's no need for concern.
Starting tomorrow, I will withdraw myself.

Thinking that I'd been tricked by Mitsuki, I was told to eat them and so I ate them.
I was tricked.

1. I'm not sure if "putting that aside" is the correct translation of what tsumugi actually said or not, but since she generally tends to shrug off nagi's Extreme Attempts At Flattery and in this case she was trying to change the subject, I feel like contextually that's the translation that makes the most sense......?
the other alternative I thought of was that she was interpreting nagi's reincarnation metaphor as being somehow symbolic of how much weight this child lost, and so she was trying to say "if you put it like that, nagi-san, has your physical condition worsened?" which I feel like also makes sense, but I'm not sure if it's as accurate. :?
2. "nagi-san were you fatigued from the summer heat!" (nagi's summer heat exhaustion comes up as a topic not only in nagi's summer memories chat, but in iori's summer memories chat, and in mitsuki's summer memories chat, and)
3. nagi isn't quite advocating for public indecency but I think he's advocating for public indecency. he's not quite saying what if we just didn't wear clothes, but I think he's saying what if we just didn't wear clothes.
4. nagi literally says he'll become a hikikomori. I'm not sure what the deal is with the mitsuki -> tricking nagi -> nagi eating the umeboshi situation is, so I translated it as literally as I could and hopefully.... it makes some semblance of sense? really I have no idea, I'm guessing that mitsuki tried to trick nagi into think that umeboshi weren't as horrifically salty as they are to get him to eat one and nagi fell for it?
5. when he says "well then", it's.... very much a lead-in phrase? I've noticed that english doesn't really have any good lead-in phrases that have the same connotation as japanese ones........ basically, every time he says "well, then", nagi is segueing into how he's going to withdraw from society and become a shut-in until fall. it's kind of like he's implying "farewell"......
6. tsumugi says "japanese food" in katakana when she refers to the kaki goori and it always makes me laugh when she tries to appeal to nagi using カタカナ語. (I say, smiling fondly as I think of rabbit chats that I haven't translated)
