【TSUMUGI】: It's only natural for you to be agitated. Please don't apologize.
【TSUMUGI】: Please smile.
【TSUMUGI】: The guests are waiting for you to smile, Riku-san.

【TSUMUGI】: Riku-san, thank you for all of your hard work!
It's finally time for Star Camp to begin!
【TSUMUGI】: Until it's time for IDOLiSH7's appearance, I'll be going around to pay my respects to the staff!
If anything happens, please call me!

【RIKU】: Manager, thanks for all of your hard work!
Did you see TRIGGER?

【TSUMUGI】: TRIGGER? I was certain that there weren't any plans for them to make an appearance, but...

【RIKU】: All of the other members were running into TRIGGER around the event hall.
I'm the only one who hasn't met them......
【RIKU】: Even though TRIGGER has three members, I haven't even met one of them.

【TSUMUGI】: I don't think that the number of members has anything to do with that...
【TSUMUGI】: It could be that they were invited by the organizers.
【TSUMUGI】: Riku-san, did you want to go and meet them?

【RIKU】: Uh
【RIKU】: It's not like I want to meet them.
【RIKU】: I'm sorry. Forget about it.

【TSUMUGI】: As long as it won't become a disruption to your stage performance, Riku-san, I'll also try looking for them.
【TSUMUGI】: But......
【TSUMUGI】: What do you think of TRIGGER, Riku-san?

[1]: Regarding Yaotome-san
[2]: Regarding Kujo-san
[3]: Regarding Tsunashi-san

【TSUMUGI】: Regarding Yaotome-san

【RIKU】: He has a scary impression...
I think he kind of talks down to Tenn-ni.... Tenn Kujo, sometimes.....
【RIKU】: Sorry. I'm fine now.
【RIKU】: I'll do my own job properly. I'm sorry I blew up at you.

【TSUMUGI】: It's only natural for you to be agitated. Please don't apologize.
【TSUMUGI】: Please smile.
【TSUMUGI】: The guests are waiting for you to smile, Riku-san.
【TSUMUGI】: It's not just the guests. So are the members! So am I!

【RIKU】: Yeah! Thank you!

【TSUMUGI】: Regarding Kujo-san

【RIKU】: Nothing in............ particular.....................................
【RIKU】: Sorry. I'm fine now.
【RIKU】: I'll do my own job properly. I'm sorry I blew up at you.

【TSUMUGI】: It's only natural for you to be agitated. Please don't apologize.
【TSUMUGI】: Please smile.
【TSUMUGI】: The guests are waiting for you to smile, Riku-san.
【TSUMUGI】: It's not just the guests. So are the members! So am I!

【RIKU】: Yeah! Thank you!

【TSUMUGI】: Regarding Tsunashi-san

【RIKU】: He gives off a kind impression....
Still, since he seems flashy and popular, it doesn't really feel like I could befriend him...
【RIKU】: Sorry. I'm fine now.
【RIKU】: I'll do my own job properly. I'm sorry I blew up at you.

【TSUMUGI】: It's only natural for you to be agitated. Please don't apologize.
【TSUMUGI】: Please smile.
【TSUMUGI】: The guests are waiting for you to smile, Riku-san.
【TSUMUGI】: It's not just the guests. So are the members! So am I!

【RIKU】: Yeah! Thank you!

t/n:

1. I put off translating this chat for a long time because riku talking about trigger makes my head hurt, but this chat does mark the first time the phrase "ten-nii" has come close to being uttered, so that's a milestone I guess?

2. it is true that all of the other members ran into people from TRIGGER, because pretty much everyone's 4th indoor fest chapter focuses on trigger...... UH SPOILERS FOR FUTURE RABBIT CHATS, IDK IF ANYONE CARES ABOUT THAT OR NOT but iori (and I think yamato?) runs into ten, sougo and tamaki run into ryuu, and mitsuki (and nagi?) run into gaku, so literally everyone except riku meets a trigger member LOL

3. the context is also kind of tricky but I do know that the other idolish7 members have like A Sworn Duty to keep riku from encountering ten ("is he really that harsh a person?" "would it make more sense if I compared him to a personified blizzard") because they're concerned that riku would be stressed out (and thus go into spasms) by having ten treat him coldly, and I think.... they might have gotten tsumugi in on this.....? I'm not sure.......? I don't remember....??

anyways

4. when tsumugi asks "do you want to go see them?" the 'them' isn't actually stated outright; tsumugi's just asking "do you want to go and see ()", and the direct object is implied. same goes for riku's reply! so really, she could be implying TRIGGER as a whole, or she could be implying just ten, and riku could be answering to TRIGGER as a whole, or he could be answering to just wanting to see ten

5. sometimes I type ten and I have to squint and wonder if I didn't accidentally type "teh" instead

6. RIKU'S IMPRESSION OF GAKU makes me laugh so hard (I only just opened that path for the first time when I was translating it), it's one of my favorite words in japanese that there really isn't a clean translation for in english, but. riku's comment just reeks of "don't bully my big brother!!!" and it makes me cry

the ten vs. gaku perception from the viewers is actually a real thing in the story, though! there's the fact that gaku tends to treat ten like a kid (because, I mean, he kind of is), but there's also like a general consensus that in terms of talent, it's kujou ten, but in terms of popularity/stage presence/who you think of when you hear "TRIGGER", it's yaotome gaku. so gaku does tend to get the brunt of like the "trigger is flaunting their popularity" or "your talent is fake" sort of criticisms (iirc, his 3rd rehearsal~showtime chat talks about that a bit), and on the flip side of that, the fact that he tends to speak down to ten (who most people (even the ones who aren't Brocon Central) agree is more talented) seems even more off-key.

wow, idol politics! ten is still super fond of both gaku and ryuu at the end of the day, though.......

7. regarding the line that riku used to describe gaku though (I translated it as "talks down to"), it was tricky to translate for a few reasons. first of all, riku corrected himself off of "ten-nii" (he actually went from "ten-ni" to "kujou ten", which has a bit more of a slipup than 'tenn-ni' to 'tenn kujo' does) at the start of the line, rather than in the middle as it reads in english. I wanted to try to keep that stutter at the start of his line, but there really isn't any clean way barring riku suddenly talking about yoda to be like "Tenn-ni... Tenn Kujo is sometimes talked down to by him, I feel like.". I mean, it works, but it doesn't flow as nicely since in general you don't put direct objects at the start of the sentence in english! (not to mention this sentence makes ten the subject, I think. why am I trying to translate japanese when I don't even understand english grammar.)

so I cut my losses and stuck the "I think that he" at the front of the sentence and tenn's name in the middle. the actual word that riku uses re: how gaku treats ten is "erasou" -- which basically means like, thinking that you're all that, or acting high and mighty; the literal translation is "proud", but I don't think that using proud would have the right connotation in english because riku is definitely saying that he feels like gaku acts (inappropriately) self-important when he talks to ten.
