【TAMAKI】: Iorin won't let me cheat off of him, after all—
【TSUMUGI】: Ch, cheating is no good...

【TSUMUGI】: Tamaki-san, thank you for all of your hard work!
Since there was a filming immediately after school ended today, it must have been very difficult.

【TAMAKI】: Yeah
【TAMAKI】: I asked Iorin if it wouldn't be smart to skip today?, but since there was a test I got dragged along
【TAMAKI】

【TSUMUGI】: So you had a test today! How was it?

【TAMAKI】: Iorin won't let me cheat off of him, after all—

【TSUMUGI】: Ch, cheating is no good...

【TAMAKI】: It was lucky, 'cause there were lots of multiple choice questions

[1]: What is it like attending school with Iori-san?
[2]: What is it like to work with Iori-san?
[3]: What are lessons like with Iori-san?

【TSUMUGI】: What is it like attending school with Iori-san?

【TAMAKI】: It's just normal.
I give him the stickers and stuff from candy.
【TAMAKI】: I once had Iorin help me study, but
It was a total disaster

【TSUMUGI】: A, a total disaster?

【TAMAKI】: He got mad and said that as long as you can just understand the formula, you can solve any problem.
An unknown meaning.

【TSUMUGI】: Ahhh, the people who are capable do tend to say things like that.

I also have no idea how subjects that use formulas work...

【TAMAKI】: If only all of the classes in the world could just be gym instead—

【TSUMUGI】: What is it like to work with Iori-san?

【TAMAKI】: Since Iorin and Yama-san won't read their scripts while we're waiting,
They'll play with me and it's nice

【TSUMUGI】: What are lessons like with Iori-san?

【TAMAKI】: Iorin's fast at remembering, so when I forget the moves, I look at Iorin.

t/n:

1. I still cry myself to sleep not knowing how to properly translate tamaki's split sentences. anyways, rather than multiple choice, tamaki does specify that they were "three-answer questions", and while I feel like multiple implies that there are four, it feels a bit smoother than three-answer question does.

2. rather than "what is it like to ____", tsumugi does say more like "what sort of feeling is it" — probably meaning more like, what sort of feeling does it give off? the "to work with" was v. interpretive translation on my part, though.

3. I'm a bit tired so I nearly translated tamaki's "意味不明" (lit. "meaning unknown") as "It is a mystery", but honestly I think it'd be totally in line for tamaki to use strange internet memes to communicate. We just don't know. it probably doesn't help that I'm on a poetic translation kick, LOL

4. the stickers and stuff that tamaki refers to are probably things like the infamous magnets from iori's summer memories chapter. there's also an instance in the main story where iori Formally Requests That Tamaki Please Give Him A Sticker So He Can Recycle It, so it's p canon

5. why do we need i7 academy when we have iori and tamaki attending the same high school
