IDOLiSH7's appearance at "SUMMER IDOL FESTA in TOKYO COMMEMORATIVE PARK" has been decided!
【SOGO】： Congratulations, manager.
I'm glad to hear that we get to sing on a stage that huge.
【TSUMUGI】： Thank you very much!
【TSUMUGI】： Sogo-san, yours and Tamaki-san's schedules will become slightly more constricting, but we'll do our absolute best to support you from here, so let's both do our best!

【TSUMUGI】： I'm sorry for placing such a burden on you.
【TSUMUGI】： Are things going well with Tamaki-san?
【SOGO】： Somehow.
Even though he's still a student, he's really trying his best.
【SOGO】： There was a bit of trouble earlier, though, and he's been more reticent ever since.
【TSUMUGI】： By trouble, you mean....?
【SOGO】： When we were leaving the studio, an IDOLiSH7 fan said something to us.
【SOGO】： That we were traitors.
【SOGO】： Since it seemed like trouble could start with the fan, I warned Tamaki-kun not to say anything, and dragged him away from there, but ever since then, he hasn't really wanted to listen to me.
【TSUMUGI】： So something like that happened, then...
【TSUMUGI】： I'm so sorry... It's because I couldn't cover for you well enough...
【SOGO】： It's not your fault, manager.
I think Tamaki-kun was deeply wounded.
【SOGO】： That kid has a sensitive side to him, but rather than trying to comfort him, I immediately scolded him instead....
【SOGO】： It's possible that he's come to distrust me.
【SOGO】： Going forward, I'll have to work hard to regain his trust.
【TSUMUGI】： Sogo-san, you were probably also wounded, too.
【TSUMUGI】： The one at fault is the manager, me.
【TSUMUGI】： All I do is place more and more burdens on the two of you....

ok, maybe eventually. but never
2. the park might be showa memorial park; when I googled the phrase, that was the first hit that came back. I can't really say for certain though and I didn't want to make assumptions, so I left it with the literal translation for now!
3. I guess that saying "didn't you bring in more work?" and meaning it as a compliment or attempt at consolation might seem.... a bit strange.... but since for an idol group, exposure is important, and since by confirming i7's appearance at the commemorative park (which, since it's a big festival and stage, probably means that tsumugi had to work hard to get i7 onstage), she's gotten idolish7 more exposure. hence why sougo means it as being a good quality!
4. this is one of those chats where I'm like [SQUINTS @ CHRONOLOGY] because sometimes the rabbit chats are so dodgy about things like "gosh who is riku's mysterious older brother??? it is a mystery", and I figured it was in an attempt to not spoil any players who somehow unlocked part 3 on riku's ordinary days rabbit chat before they got to chapter whatever-it-is in the main story, which makes sense, but. the catalogue that this outdoor festival card came from was given out to all players who started playing in august, and it's spoiling a much later plot point by referencing mezzo"?
I guess I can kind of reconcile the inconsistency with the fact that the ordinary days cards are very common, whereas the outdoor festival cards are much rarer (that one catalogue notwithstanding), but still. and then the trigger cards are like haha lol we will talk frankly about ten's brother (yet whose name is also mysteriously never mentioned)
honestly I should probably stop trying to make sense of it and just accept it. ANYWAYs, I figured I should give a quick rundown on just what exactly the mezzo" drama is, so!
5. basically, back when idolish7 was still in the "trainee" phase, tamaki and sougo happened to be the ones who were shown the most during a broadcast of a live show (the music cut out because of the rain, so they had tamaki improvise a dance solo (I think it was because they recognized that tamaki was the one who wanted to appear on TV the most), and then when the music cut back in, it was starting from sougo's solo -- those were the two parts that got captured on film). because of that, they skyrocketed in popularity to the point where if they debuted, they'd be popular enough to be able to make a living.
Stuff Happens and idolish7 as a whole fails to do well enough to debut as seven people, so sougo and tamaki debuted first as mezzo", because they were conveniently the mf and mp symbols. sure is a good thing that it wasn't, like, nagi and mitsuki who shone the brightest. what would you call that. a natural flatness....... Anyways
neither sougo nor tamaki are really That Enthusiastic about working as a duo in the first place since they don't really get along well, but tamaki has his sister thing and sougo has his self-sacrificing thing, so they go for it, and even continue promoting as mezzo" after idolish7 starts making preparations for their debut/debuts/etc. which gets to be like "wow we are working mezzo to death" but, anyways
the fact that they debuted first and continued to promote definitely creates something of a divide amongst the fans between ones who support what u might call the Original OT7, and others who moreso followed mezzo's activities, and it sort of gets addressed in the story, but. the moral of the story is that for all of the fans who support mezzo, there are just as many who resent them for debuting and promoting without the rest of idolish7.
this was supposed to be a quick rundown but writing this probably took me longer than translating the entire rabbit chat combined LOL I am indeed mezzo"推し to the bitter end.....
