1. v. tempted to title this chat "the melancholy of tamaki yotsuba" since it's the same yuuutsu, but. the actual title kinda gets lost in translation because yuuutsu ("melancholy") is normally written in kanji as "憂鬱", but in the title it's written out in hiragana as ゆううつ. I think it's meant to be a joke because the chat is about tamaki asking tsumugi how to read a kanji.
2. speaking of kanji, I'm not sure what exactly 沽券に関わる is doing in the i7 academy script, but the lit. translation would be "to be a point of honor; to affect one's good name" -- so I... can't really guess at the context without further knowledge, I guess!
3. the reason tsumugi comments on tamaki reading the script is because she's.... kind of had to explain some of the setting to him (she had to do a bit of that in his first i7a rabbit chat), and also because tamaki is kind of the type who doesn't do any preparation 'n stuff. it's a bit more relevant in the story especially when mezzo" debuts, but tsumugi and sougo are both characters who spend no small amount of time either going over materials w/ tamaki or begging him to please look over the materials himself
as is illustrated by tamaki referencing sougo in the next line LOL
4. speaking of referencing sougo, his original line has lots of —s in it, so I tried to do the rough equivalent by dragging out his letters.
5. tsumugi's commenting on sougo's setting being complex is referencing how from what I've seen, his role has the most stipulations? like mostly everyone else only had one or two changes that didn't completely overhaul their character (yamato might have also gotten a bunch because he went from "disguising as a student" to "the nurse's office's dark power mastermind of the school" but I haven't read his chats so idk) but sougo went from "passionate math teacher" to "cruel kendou club advisor" to "tsundere vampire" back to "passionate schoolteacher" like, all at once, so he has a lot on his plate LOL
6. tamaki splits his sentences x1000 in his third branch so I honestly have no idea what I'm translating, I did my best and took a few wild guesses rip....
7. I'm really glad that tamaki looks at a script, sees his own name, and is like "is this me?". he's still so oddly genuine about looking over the script, though......... I'm crying
I'm glad that I can add [tamaki voice] just make him tsundere to my list of [character voice]s
