IDOLiSH7's appearance at "SUMMER IDOL FESTA in TOKYO COMMEMORATIVE PARK" has been decided!
【RIKU】： Whoa, awesome!
That's a pretty huge festival, isn't it?
【TSUMUGI】： Yes! It's the festival outdoors that TRIGGER participated in last year, as well!
In the 1-2pm time slot, IDOLiSH7 is the top batter!
【RIKU】： Awesome—!!

It's because a person from the sponsoring event company has taken an interest in IDOLiSH7's music, as well as you, Riku-san!
【RIKU】： By someone from the event company, do you mean Ume-chan?
【RIKU】： Ah, sorry! You mean Umeda-san.
Umeda-san seems about the same age as my dad, but he tells me to call him Ume-chan anyways.
【RIKU】： Ume-chan's super good at games, you know.
【RIKU】： It's really exciting that we'll get to work together—.
【RIKU】： I'll have to bring my best so that Ume-chan won't get scolded by his superiors!
【TSUMUGI】： Riku-san, Umeda-san is the president!
【RIKU】： Eh!?
【RIKU】： Aaaah!!
【RIKU】： So then that's why Iori was telling me to have proper manners!!!
【TSUMUGI】： H, he introduced himself as such at the dinner party, didn't he.
【RIKU】： At the time some sort of hotpot I'd never seen before had been set right before my eyes, so trying to think of how I was going to eat it took everything I had.......
【RIKU】： All I'd ever eaten before was buffet-style shabu-shabu.
【TSUMUGI】： You did try to stick the serving chopsticks into the cylinder in the middle, after all.
【RIKU】： So he was the president, then! But, I mean, he always seemed like he had a lot of free time.......
【TSUMUGI】： Our president seems like he has a lot of free time when there's nothing to do, too!

1. so we have dojikko riku-kun, and now we have ukkari riku-kun, although technically ukkari riku-kun came before dojikko riku-kun, but only barely,
*shade continues to be thrown on riku at an alarming rate*
2. my guess is that riku knew about summerfes because, trigger performed there the previous year,
3. tsumugi said 13:00-14:00 but I switched it to am/pm because I figure that's a bit more of a widely recognised convention?
4. this is my first time reading riku's outdoor fes chats and I wonder if I shouldn't have read these a lot sooner because I have no clue who umeda is (I'm assuming that's how I should read 梅田), but if this is a peaches and plums joke I will eat my hat
5. I have no clue who umeda is (I already said that) but since riku's comparing em to his dad I'm.... going to assume he's a dude........ with weird life choices....... and use 'he' pronouns.......... for now................
6. apparently cylinders being in the center of shabushabu hotpot dishes is a real thing that really happens according to me googling "鍋の筒"
it's to help manage the temperature it looks like? to keep things hot? so uh sticking your chopsticks in that hole seems like it would be a very bad idea potentially
if you google 'shabu shabu hotpot' or something similar you can kinda get a sense for what's being described but basically it looks like a bundt cake pan sort of?
