【YAMATO】： This place we get our costumes from, do they have a thing for hoodies?
Do they have a thing for attaching ears?

This time's costumes are ridiculously adorable, aren't they!
【YAMATO】： Are they making them with the knowledge that a 22 year old grown man will wear them?

【TSUMUGI】： I say that it was fitting, but how uncomfortable you seemed was very endearing, Yamato-san!
【TSUMUGI】： Because it was able to draw out that sort of charm, I believe that it was truly a divine costume!

Every time Mitsu took down his hood he'd pull it back up.

【YAMATO】： Every time a new costume shows up, I'll have Mitsu wear my costume once.
In order to confirm the feeling the costume's meant to be worn with.

1. can I stop laughing long enough to translate this chat w/o completely falling into the "does it make me laugh" trap of how I translate
2. tsumugi confirmed for being the PR who uploads embarrassing dressing room photos to the official twitter account, this is probably why banri runs the 公式........
3. あのさ probably isn't actually aggressive enough to warrant a "now you listen here" (it's more like a? 'okay I have something to say' kind of line, but that is Long and I can only type a coherent sentence for so long until I start laughing again, so)
I love yamato I swear [makes a massive fool out of him in my translations]
4. just to clarify, yamato's saying that every time mitsuki pulled down his hood nagi would come along and replace it, which basically means nagi was incredibly taken with the devil horns, huh.....
5. but does this mean mitsuki wore yamato's plunging neckline costume at some point because his torso is probably really short compared to yamato's???????? why does yamato pick the person least fit to his size to try on his costumes???
tbh as much as yamasou are the tired parents of the group yamato and mitsuki are the true old married couple in i7 imo
6. ちゃんと is another one of those words that I hate translating (actually I just hate translating) because it's another word where I have a largely instinctual sense for what it means, so I'm never sure how to properly convey it into english................
7. manzai is my aesthetic so ofc I left tsukkomi in the text even tho it probably would've been perfectly acceptable if I'd written 'straight man' instead
8. 'mood-reading tsukkomi' probably seems a little strange when written out like that, but basically it's the same ノリ (that I always grumble about translating) that means, like, to follow along with someone's mood. in this case it's basically meant to say that mitsuki knows how to make the punchline based on the mood as well as knowing how to go along with the joke, I think?
