The costume designs for IDOLiSH7's new single have been completed!
【TSUMUGI】： The costumes were made using the image of a chess knight as inspiration.
【MITSUKI】： Ohhh! That's pretty cool!
Have you ever played chess, manager?
【TSUMUGI】： I don't actually know many of the details...
What about you, Mitsuki-san?
【MITSUKI】： Mmmm—, I don't really get it.
I've never played, either. Iori might know how, though.
【TSUMUGI】： What sort of games do you like, Mitsuki-san?
【MITSUKI】： I like the sorts of games you'd find at a game center—.
【MITSUKI】： Stuff like races, or whack-a-moles, or zombie hunting, or beating drums.
【TSUMUGI】： So you enjoy games where you play while moving your body, then!
【MITSUKI】： Right! I like watching with my eyes and moving based on reflexes!
Stuff where you have to use your head doesn't really feel like a game, after all—.
【MITSUKI】： I like action games and hand-to-hand fighting games!
【MITSUKI】： Tamaki's really good at them, too.
Sometimes we'll compete with each other!
That guy's finger speed is no joke.
【TSUMUGI】： This certainly gives off that boyish! feeling.
Banri-san has said that he enjoys logic games.
【MITSUKI】： What kind of games do you like, manager?
【TSUMUGI】： I like ones where the mechanics are simple.
So, puzzles, for example. Or ones where you gather clothing items.
【MITSUKI】： What do you do with the clothes you gathered?
【TSUMUGI】： You put them on your avatar!
【MITSUKI】： Is that sort of thing what's interesting to girls?
【TSUMUGI】： E, even boys will collect weapons in order to go and fight, won't they...!

1. probably an easier way to describe mitsuki's preferred games would be "hand-eye coordination", but I feel like that lacks the same genki kid punch that "moving based on reflexes" has
2. i7 started downloading while I was in the middle of translating this chat and every time that happens I'm filled with fear
3. I don't have much else to say about this chat so let me just say that my favorite thing about translating the indoor festival chats is that all four chats follow pretty much the exact same opening pattern across almost all of the characters, so all I have to do is lift the dialogue from one chat and paste it into the next and have my life flash before my eyes as I forget to change the names around
4. mitsuki sounds so perplexed over the idea of gathering clothes, in the original text it's almost like he's saying "what are you even trying to do by gathering clothes"
5. I'm never quite sure how to translate ううん........
