1. it's been almost ten days since I translated anything sougo-related? I'm slacking so hard?
2. anyways, I'm billing bamco for a new phone case because when I unlocked this chat and was reading it for the first time I threw my phone halfway across my car and I demand reparations

3. thanks to the nature of quoting particles in japanese, sougo manages to convey the meaning of "what sort of conversation were you two having that involved the word adult-like" using.... like, ten syllables? so I shortened it and changed the meaning around for the sake of flow, but why is it that whenever yamato is involved characters start using that "what's with the ()???" pattern. answer, yamato is so ridiculous.......
4. I DON'T TRUST ANYTHING IN THIS CHAT TBH!!!!!!!!! like, I'm sorry, but I've lost all faith in sougo ousaka. I will never trust a single message that comes from his icon ever again. honestly the first time I read through this chat I was like wtf sougo that is TOO GOOD AN EXCUSE also EXERCISE BETTER CONTROL OVER YOUR PHONE so I honestly through he was, like, trying to be sneaky...... but then I went all the way around and began to wonder, what if it was yamato on the other end of the line from the very beginning.................................

5. '勝手' (the word sougo uses to describe yamato's sending of the message) is a difficult phrase to translate succinctly, largely because its literal meaning doesn't properly convey any of the connotations? basically, it carries the implication of a.) doing something largely by force as well as b.) doing it completely unsolicited and generally it's also c.) behavior that was not desired in the first place — in this case, the act of yamato hijacking sougo's phone (.... in theory [squints]) is in and of itself very 勝手な behavior because he probably took the phone by force and/or sent the message(s) without really like any prior warning
basically yamato's a hooligan and I can't trust any rabbit chat ever again
6. OH a bit of background information for anyone who hasn't read yamato's halloween ch.1 yet, but basically tsumugi went to talk to him about the atmosphere for the song (since he is still the leader) and explained how even tho riku would still be the center, she wanted to have him and sougo act as the focus for the MV filming bc they were the most Adult Like and Sexy, and then yamato took the adult line and ran w/ it and it was terrifying
