【TSUMUGI】： Thank you for all of your hard work on today's filming of the school variety mini drama!
【TSUMUGI】： Episode one's script was very interesting. Your role of the special English lecturer was very enigmatic, Nagi-san!
【NAGI】： Thank you for all of your hard work, manager.
Being able to please you is my ultimate happiness.
【NAGI】： Even if you were to gaze up at a capricious moon, never forget this.
【NAGI】： That all of the smiles I can express are pointed towards you.

【TSUMUGI】： But, today, didn't you go and have tea with some of the production side's female staff?
【NAGI】： It was to draw your attention.

【NAGI】： Most importantly, they were persons with a deep understanding of my beloved, most respected work.
【TSUMUGI】： That would be "Magical Girl Magic★Cocona", correct?

【NAGI】： That mundane drama will transform into a majestic fantasy overflowing with hope and dreams!
【TSUMUGI】： A majestic fantasy!?
【NAGI】： I conveyed it to the staff.
【NAGI】： That the English instructor I portrayed is a mysterious character.
【NAGI】： Would it not be appropriate, for that mystery to be deep, and more expansive than space, and most of all exciting?
【NAGI】： And so thus, I became an agent who is carrying the burden of a certain duty.
【TSUMUGI】： An agent!?
【NAGI】： Yes.

2. retcon edit note but I've changed the format for nagi's english words from ｔｈｉｓ to this! I'll probably keep messing w/ it until I find a format I like, but this feels a bit prettier for now....
3. I'm never sure if nagi's fancy language is meant to illustrate that he's a foreigner or meant to illustrate to me that I really have no idea what I'm translating. the word he uses (capricious) can apparently also mean, like, infidelity? unfaithfulness? which might have to do with how he went out for tea w/ the lady staff, but I stuck with capricious as my translation.
I'm glad that tsumugi has accepted that all she can do when nagi praises her is just. arigatou gozaimasu
4. nagi only really says "those ladies were beautiful and wise" in japanese but I figured spinning it "as wise as they were beautiful" seemed.... more romantic? ok
5. no but seriously as soon as nagi said "majestic fantasy" I dropped my phone and hissed it was you. uhhh I think that the proper exposition is in riku's 2nd i7 academy chat (the one that I first read and was like "there's an android and a vampire, there is no way I'm reading this correctly"), tsumugi is like "yes the first script didn't sell very well" or s/t "and so several changes were made!" and I was like oh, ok, their reviews were bad so they decided to spice it up, and instead I see that nagi rokuya did everything wrong in this case. I thought it was a bit too convenient that he got to wear the anime happi....
6. his line about the deep mystery was tough to translate, I wound up dragging punctuation and clauses around because otherwise it felt like a runon. hopefully it still makes sense...!
