1. the word that riku (and then tsumugi, and then mitsuki, and then everyone in this chat) uses is "会", which can mean Party, or gathering, or meeting, or event, or basically anything as long as there is some plural number of people involved. but it's very vague so I used 'thing' in hopes of conveying a similar vagueness! basically riku is trying to ask mitsuki "who do you want to have plan your birthday party" only he's trying to be sneaky about it like "so if there were a hypothetical party being hypothetically planned by a hypothetical someone for an event that's Definitely Not Your Birthday, who would you want to have plan it?"

SO IMPORTANT!!!!!!! oh my god I'm not coherent at all, but, it says so much about how much these people (iori, yamato, nagi) care about him? on the one hand it's a sign of how important mitsuki is to them if they want to be The One who gets to arrange mitsuki's birthday party, on the other hand imo it's almost like a subconscious sign of how?? aware they are?? of mitsuki's Self Confidence Issues, if they're going out of their way to make a point like No, This Boy Is Maybelline Worth It For Me To Fight Over Party Rights For Him, because, I mean, it's a birthday party, it's not like they couldn't have collaborated, but instead they're arguing!! over mitsuki!!! ,
