1. I would say I'm translating stuff while I wait for my life to recharge for the event but actually I'm so tired everything has lost meaning and I [sits at full life for three hours]. this is it for iori's unit chats though, my card is at lvl 31 so it will be A capital While before I get him to lvl55 LOL

2. I honestly felt awful the first time I read this chat I sat back and silently shook my head the minute I saw "nanase-san". also this chat was OBNOXIOUS to transcribe bc every time someone sends a message it jumps you back to the most recent message, and, well,

I'm not sure if 文書 (I translated it as "document") can't also mean like informally just "note" or something, but because most of the translations I was looking at were implying that it was like. documents, paperwork, records, archives, etc., and tbh I am oddly endeared by the idea of tsumugi looking at iori's heartfelt apology and being like "so I just have to look over this paperwork?", hence why I translated it like that LOL

4. obviously iori and tsumugi are spelling idolish7 as "a-i-do-ri-s-shu-se-bu-n" so in japanese it was only almost half as many lines. I went ahead and just spelled out in english (with s-e-v-e-n spelled out). the fly high fly is a line from monster generation, btw!

5. I think it's pretty clear that iori's True Tone shows through when he freaks out, and then he collects himself once he says Never Mind it was a Mistaken Transmission. he literally says copy/paste mistake tho

6. the "how noisy!" was originally やかましい, which can also mean like how fussy, how obnoxious, you're being a brat, I find this behavior to be very unnecessary, etc. I feel like I've seen iori use it somewhere else but I'm not sure where? I thought it was in one of the unit chats but I don't remember translating it any other times.... it's a v. iori phrase tho

7. rather than spam, tsumugi said something more like "you don't have to make the log flow" -- basically her meaning is that iori doesn't have to extend the log, or make the log move, so I went with 'spam' bc I couldn't think of any better wording alternative... in japanese I don't think that it carries quite the same negative context, though!

8. I do think it probably looks a little strange for iori to say "I'm aware that this is my responsibility" -- I think the more natural english wording is "I'm aware that this is my fault" or something along those lines, but since iori specifically uses the word for 'responsibility' I thought I'd leave it

9. wtf I think this is the first time I've gone up to nine translation notes. anyways! the "I've realized that now" was originally 反省, which is like to self-reflect, to reconsider, etc. I remember it showed up in sougo's ordinary days pt. 2 where tsumugi said that tamaki had reconsidered, but I didn't touch on it at the time so now I will touch on it. it's a short japanese word that carries the long meaning of "I've reflected on the way I behaved and have come to recognize that it was unacceptable, and now I am trying to repent"
